What the Drunken Farmer Said
dusk arising said:

For me birdsong is the music of the great outdoors subliminally influencing us from birth to death.

I read a sadness that the beautiful things in our world are easily just taken for granted in your words today.

Lovely writing .. maybe it was an Angel

You know I’ve actually heard the voice of angels .. a while ago sounded like a soft angelic choir .. I do believe in angels and I think they help me

But I think you have to be a certain place to perhaps sense them more

That blue you see comes from light specific wave lengths absorbed by water, and interpreted by your eyes and brain as color. Now that that\'s out of the way, this is a lovely write and I hope to see Turquoisa some day.

L. B. Mek said:

\'we do indeed, cultivate our reality
based on what
we curate, by those knowing choices
and perspectives
we sculpt, out of our fate\'..
(If I say the sudden downpour, makes me feel
like
I\'m walking beneath a waterfall..
I pity the fool
who tries to convince me, using reality
as his fishing rod
for they shall never understand
the beauty
in our beloved Blighty\'s
state of mind...)
\'get our wellies on, and dance\'
lol
(your poem, brought a smile to me
from somewhere deep within
a soothing read..
thank you, dear Poet supreme)

I agree with Teddy. Often humor comes out when you are rubbed the wrong way; if you keep rubbing so will the knife.

Wise words from you. Though late in the day, how lucky to recognise a persons true colours and keep the revolver in the drawer.

Words are strange for some. It seems many believe love starts with a good F.

I love the \"her that is the lake\" which is reminiscent of the \"her that you loved\". Those moments are special and priceless. How lyrical and beautifully crafted.

Wow, truly quite the touching tale Neville. I mean I totally felt the bittersweet sensations your poem gave me, with the wistful longing and the \"could\'ve been\'s.\" Sometimes not everything is destined, sadly. Hope you\'re doing good now though, you know with the whole love shebang.
