And hats off to those workers who try their best in rehab centres
I have always felt, this situation is immensely difficult for the friends, family and the warriors who try their best not to lose hope

I have known addicts in my years. The one\'s I knew were not terrible people at all. Their habit caused them to do horrible things and i would keep a respectful distance to avoid being taken advantage of. All too often tragic ends make local news. All too often addicts are wrongly identified as being the dregs of society. So misunderstood, they are victims in many ways of crimes lurking in our society.
A very moving piece today.
