- this drew me in and makes me want to write a take on some of the ideas you have used so well.

Neville,
I enjoyed reading your poem! Your penned words that can be interpreted in many ways...depending on the reader! I’d call it a smorgasbord of interpretations!

A fine write N. I dunno if it\'s about romance, cos Fido never lets me get that far. He\'s holding me back. Woof! Quiet, Fido. lol.

Although it could also be read with a hint of cynicism to the tragic romantic. Like a satire. So I’m left uncertain.
I still like it because that is about where I am at with the idea of romance.

An enjoyable read.
I love the last two lines, I feel like I should have written them, they are so full of painful romance.

An intriguing write, I wondered if it was very clever, I wasn’t sure if I should feel sorry.
To withhold the pain
You so much crave
There was a kind of ache to it and I couldn’t work out whose.

The first time I read it, I read it like a metaphor, the skylight, the window to...
The unfathomable, beautiful, dark, exciting, everything and nothing.
Like taking a journey through consciousness.
And I do love the starlit sky.
So after reading the comments I read it and wondered of the window being the thing that shapes perception and makes it all the things it could become. In an endless kind of way.
And then I wondered of that feeling you get when you look up on a clear night. It is just an indescribable feeling. No mirrors or windows. Just straight to the soul.
It was gentle and reached out to me.
