What Do You Drive

I can hear that baritone sax solo..... and the coloured girls say \'do da do - dad doo dad doo\' etc
Feels odd writing \'coloured\' in 2019
The song by Lou Reed was actually about a transvestite friend of his so maybe the \'lady\' in your piece did u a favour being gone. But i don\'t know which way you swing LOL.

I think it all went wrong at ‘hey babe’ lol.
Need to work on your chat up lines!
Catchy expression of it though.
Played like a comedy sketch in my mind.
Not sure if that was the intention? 😂
Ps by all went wrong I meant the man in your poem not your poem. I liked the poem, it made me laugh. Laughing is good.

This piece intrigued me.
I was left a little uncertain about how the author felt about his creation or the image in his head?
It reminded me of baba yaga or such mythical wild woman ideas.
There is a calmness yet a dread.
An emptiness yet battlefield ablaze.
Perhaps an acceptance of fate?

A dark and sad shape indeed is your feral maiden Neville - - loved the cold flow of this shivery piece -
- -a wraith of the tarot-card table so adeptly described makes a haunt of a read.

Oohh what\'s she up to there, battling on? She certainly \'gets out more\' - like I should do! Did she \'get her coat\' having \'over-stayed her welcome\' somewhere, then go off on these adventures?!

Aphasia?
Voicelessness?
Emptiness?
Apathy?
Powerlessness?
Oh so many words could fill that void.
It reminded me of a poem I wrote.

What need of words when they are only a carriage of sentiment. The prayer is within not without. For who is there to hear.

I could do with an embu, seeing as I\'m 21 again tomorrow, N. lol. I do meditation sometimes. Nope, not to think myself into being younger!

A Handful of Ghosts
sylviasearcher said:
I sometimes
Wonder
If I share
My bed
With more than
A handful
Of
Ghosts
And whether
There is any
Space
In that bed
Left
For me
Just a thought...
From your words
