A Day Out in The Country

A beautiful scene beset with such tragedy that did not need to be, but for ignorance. Well told my friend.

Breathtaking dear friend! I love the beautiful presentation of this poem, and the unstruck chord resonates throughout, in music of the heart.

Perfect By Chance
Bella Shepard said:

By retracing our steps we find a logical explanation for what has come to pass. What a lovely word \"Chance\" can be when in the end it leads Kismet. Beautifully short, but oh so beautiful.

I have spent thousands of hours with Rorschach cards but not nearly as many as with clouds or grain in wood. Neville this poem is great in its view of how we impose on ambiguous items our own interpretations. I have found this most true of poems as well as intended meaning becomes distorted or reinterpreted in unintended ways in others minds. A great write Neville

KP never leaves me - boohoo I say - not in sadness, but in agony that she stays! lol.

Memories are all we have to take along with us. All Sanyasis in life, beggars with only our memories to carry. A most beautiful tribute Neville

Yep I got one of them, possibly slightly (but not much) lighter. A lesson learnt very early. The current permission/consent movement is still trying to catch up!

Lol. Hysterical. I\'m dealing with writer\'s groups, far far away and they have that kind of reaction and I didn\'t even touch them there. Lol

Oops, deleted your comment somehow - your reply to me - while trying to delete an empty \'comments\' box of my own.
You commented something like \'I don\'t want to \'go there\'.
Who can bear it! lol.

As night slides into a brand new day. You paint a canvas here of both shadow and light. I saw wet cobblestones and amber lights before the rising of the sun. I saw closed doors and tasted sea salt. You create a familiar ambience of a fishing town. So visual.

My friend, I really really like this one. The juxtaposition , the Yin Yang of all , have a starring role. It seems that you say to us that if we just wait, we get to taste both , live for a time in each , and that’s ok , for the completeness defines an authentic world , no matter how we fall on any specific day. The spectral harrier that is without judgement , the night insists not only a shadow upon all but also demands to hand the baton to create next whether it’s our chance to claim joy or be in line waiting to be hanged the inevitability of next is the dynamic reward.
