Ah, witnessed that and been there myself a couple of times or so. A singular moment such as this can perpetual use a feeling, often I forget that we move on and this is part of a many segmented process, our privilege to witness it and document it through poetry is divine, and at times also feels like trespassing into anotherβs space. I suppose in other forms, stream of consciousness is quite an insight. Thanks for sharing this tender piece. ππ»

What a very beautifully rendered illustration of Billy Joel\'s song! Empathy with delicate imagery and such a subtly haunting poignancy! Thank you very much for sharing, Ma\'am. Timely and lovely as your wont.

Wonderful poem Cassie. We all need to reflect on our blessings and realize how fortunate we are compared to those lost in the wilderness of strife and starvation. - Phil A.

This is one of those poems which manages to blurr the distinction between written words and painting. Although, the poem never mentioned Scotland, the subtle hints were enough to remind me of my visits to Scotland. The line \"no winners only losers\" is particularly poignant in painting a picture of melancholy amidst the breathtaking beauty. Absolutely loved it!

Cassie, this is beautiful! As a lover of wolves, the night and the moon...I feel its hypnotic tune calling out to me in silver beams! Anyway, a magical poem both literally and metaphorically...and I concur, the moon has been rock solid to me in both times of sorrow and joy. Beautiful poem! πΉπ
