The sad reality of farming though unfair for us to consider farmers to be an uncaring lot. The\'ye the one\'s who are in very close contact with the natural life of our lands more than anyone and from my little experience of contact with them i have found them to nurture and care.
Yet death beneath our tyres on the roadway goes largely unseen and un commented upon unless it is a fox ,badger or another beautiful beast. The lowly insect crushed under tyre or splattered on a windscreen gets little consideration. All are god\'s creations. Mohandas Ghandi would not use transport and walked everywhere on foot so that he took no life upon his path.

A thought provoking post today saxon revealing just how callous and dismissive of life we all have become as we go about our day yet we are horrified when presented with film of a big cat taking down an antelope for sustenance.

A guilt hangs over in the air but is gone within the next few breaths.

Disturbing to think about.

Greed in facade of need…well penned dear Saxon…the murder in name of necessity, wish could be considered, other ways of harmonious living…world peace and sustainability so much needed….

Yes, some just blunder in and blunder on, trampling all over others.
Not everyone, but in some places of nature, all is OK - then man turns up and mucks it up! Good write SC.

Some people simply are selfish ., and do not think ! Nature is so beautiful ., birds are lovely .

That’s really sad ((( feel sorry for those birds , they deserve a life and to live .

It’s strange the actions some people take without thinking or caring about what they are doing .. and the impact they are going to have

This is a wonderful read about the corruption of man. Greed ultimately destroyed a home, and it\'s saddening. A much enjoyed walk through your words.

I relate so much. I literally never remember my dreams and whenever I do they feel like little glimpses that I just can\'t fully grasp. You truly explained it amazingly here, awesome job!

I got a smile from reading this one! You were probably on a tropical island with a beautiful young maiden, having the time of your life in your dream! Pity you can\'t remember! Good poem though!

Omg that’s so true .. sleepless nights are some kind of torture . I end up feeling drowsy the next day . But I tell you just 5 mins of meditation before bed has really helped me sleep well. And of course shutting off my phone coz that’s the root of my problem. Well described saxon ✨

I can relate to each line Sax -- the final few words say it all for me too - a fine and poetic outcry against waking up tired.

Dear Sax,

Good Morning! ☀️

Perhaps you’re suffering from ‘sleep apnea’.
I hope your ‘power nap’ will energize you.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful poem.

I know whay you mean, those aliens always leave me knackered after theyve done their stuff to me and the obligatory very sore bottom means I cant readily return to sleep. It\'s all very distressing. You were very lucky if they only stuffed you in a pillow sack, I got stuffed where it hurts it seems.

Great poem Saxon and (ahem) you got my juices flowing (poetic juices).

I love the weary sun and Mrs. Moon, such personalities you\'ve given them. We are, after all ruled by day and night, it\'s lovely to think of the way you\'ve presented it. Wonderful!

Really like this crow .. so many good lines and so nicely expressed

I especially like these lines

‘Mrs Moon stirs from day dream slumbers

Half awake refusing to break the spell of her imagination,’

Lovely to read 🙂

Glad you had a nice walk .

I think we can sometimes just not be in touch with who we truly are and be a bit out of sync with the world . Like your mention of the 5 g world

Now i\'m wondering if caterpillers are a delicacy in the bird world or is it a pre-emptive strike to prevent the airways being clutterd with butterflies and moths?
I shall have to interview one of our feathered friends. As for those badgers, I can\'t get near them.

Great fun read Saxon.
