This certainly has the cadence of a folk song. It could be set to music quite easily. Thanks for sharing.

2 sides to a coin. Your 2 poems reveal to us that before we judge we should listen to both sides. Very good.

Yes! I love this sequel. I read \"Skylark\" as well and I adore how you decided to write from both perspectives. It truly goes to show the way one\'s pov can change the way we see a certain person. Amazing!

Good words SC, the antipathy of your previous verse showing that we need to be aware of all the circumstances of why things are done.

Oh how very sad Sax - skylarks have long gone from walks I take on the Cornish coast towans here whereas I used to thrill at the first song in the year they sang - -shame on the greed shown by those who ignore the diverse gift of nature.

It’s like blindly jumping to conclusions, doing stuff for your own greed , not caring about others but just yourself . I liked the flow of the poem . Good one Saxon 🌟👌

The sad reality of farming though unfair for us to consider farmers to be an uncaring lot. The\'ye the one\'s who are in very close contact with the natural life of our lands more than anyone and from my little experience of contact with them i have found them to nurture and care.
Yet death beneath our tyres on the roadway goes largely unseen and un commented upon unless it is a fox ,badger or another beautiful beast. The lowly insect crushed under tyre or splattered on a windscreen gets little consideration. All are god\'s creations. Mohandas Ghandi would not use transport and walked everywhere on foot so that he took no life upon his path.

A thought provoking post today saxon revealing just how callous and dismissive of life we all have become as we go about our day yet we are horrified when presented with film of a big cat taking down an antelope for sustenance.

A guilt hangs over in the air but is gone within the next few breaths.

Disturbing to think about.

Some people simply are selfish ., and do not think ! Nature is so beautiful ., birds are lovely .

That’s really sad ((( feel sorry for those birds , they deserve a life and to live .

It’s strange the actions some people take without thinking or caring about what they are doing .. and the impact they are going to have
