Luxury
Rocky Lagou said:

Hi beloved Spiller! Oh, no, not a sad one :(
I hope this isn\'t too personal, however \"misery\" is contingent on the fact of being human.
\"betrothed to grief\" is such a powerful line.
Like that was such a clever way to describe it, and it can truly feel at our lowest times that we are bound to grief.
I\'d like to note the title of the poem as well, \"Luxury,\" as it kind of sets a juxtaposition to the topic at hand.
Perhaps it serves as a critique to the way that opulent living can often lead to depression.
Reminds me of the adage, \"You can\'t buy happiness.\"
Wonderfully expressed dear poet.

Delicate one, Nature has ways that make us understand the importance of everything. The things we pass by are the things we crave later on. Eventually, leaving us like that broken leaf drifting with wind in search of that missing musk. Well penned, dear poet.

Incomparable dear poet! This is such an intense almost melancholic experience that the speaker is going through. I feel every season brings its own adversities and sometimes fall is the season that reflects us humans the most. We\'ll all eventually fade and spiral to the ground like a dry leaf. Thank you for this deep reflection Spiller. I think the line \"Die away at touch of society at displease\" is also important to note. Oftentimes our society can play a strong influence in our lives, for the good or bad.

I love the structure. The closing is amazing also, to think, the heat could consume all of our dreams, and that is so very true. More often than we care to realise. Nice one, fellow writer!

Terrific title

Fantastic four stanzas - maybe to match the four fleeting seasons and indeed, possibly time itself ..

Wonderfully readable and certainly enjoyed .................. Neville

You ask a series of 64 billion dollar questions dear spills .. whether there is a definitive answer to any of them, is beyond me .. and my guess is we shall just have to wait and see .. But with my hand on my heart, I have a feeling everything will work out fine in the end .. N :)

\'managing the words of supervisor \'
(you understand well, dear Poet
\'above it all\'
we must traverse, one
shaky step, at a time
on our tightrope of fate
accounting for the worst
hoping for the best
knowing
so many, before us have passed
such a test and lived to paint
ink, their victory\'s into memorable
motivational, songs
or comforting
nursery, rhymes...!)
a great read
thanks for sharing, dear Poet
stay Strong!

To bite one\'s tongue or not? A waiting game maybe the wisest play. A balance of one\'s own temperament with the sweet art of revenge (best served cold) at the most opportune moment.
Alternatively, test the safety net in real time lol.

life-affirmingly, empowering!
\'if you survive
the underscore remains
you lost

mustering the courage
hard and difficult
but you practised not to be torn
you wash your wounds
leave them untended
to remind the harshness

you must survive
survive the storms
to live gracefully\'..
onwards then, dear Poet
lets see what this twisted Fate
has to throw at us
knowing, its all
been seen before
felt, before
and survived, before
by someone, who existed
before antibiotics
and credit cards
and freedom, to choose
our paths in life..
yeah, You\'ve got this!
aim high
fall hard and brush yourself off
then soar, ever higher
laughing
at how simple it all becomes
when you believe in yourself
and forgive, yourself!

Survival is indeed a prime motivator. Heroes are remembered by most once or twice a year but they are dead history unless you fought alongside them.

Many storms confront every life. We have a choice. Do we confront the storms head on (risky) or batten down the hatches and ride it out?
