\"betrothed to grief\" is such a powerful line.
Like that was such a clever way to describe it, and it can truly feel at our lowest times that we are bound to grief.
I\'d like to note the title of the poem as well, \"Luxury,\" as it kind of sets a juxtaposition to the topic at hand.
Perhaps it serves as a critique to the way that opulent living can often lead to depression.
Reminds me of the adage, \"You can\'t buy happiness.\"

before antibiotics

and freedom, to choose
our paths in life..

aim high
fall hard and brush yourself off
then soar, ever higher
laughing
at how simple it all becomes
when you believe in yourself
and forgive, yourself!
