I love the rhyming patterns that you employ in your poems, and this one is no exception. You give nature her just due in a most exceptional way, as you take on her most admirable characteristics.

Art

I suppose art is in the eye of the beholder, but the eye must be wide open and unclouded. I say break the rules and find the passion dear poet. You write truly from the heart!

Resignation

This is such a breathtaking commentary on our modern, electrified, technoligized world. I\'m old enough to remember a night sky full of stars, not so my grandchildren. I remember summer nights with the only sound was that of the insects, and staying out late to catch fireflies. It saddens me that it has all, as you so eloquently said in this poem, passed away. But we are lucky to have the memories.

Your key word there, for me, is \'balance\' with respect to the \'intestinal\' and \'intellectual\'. Can\'t fault that, Soren - thanks for laying it out so clearly.

I love the wonderful rhyming scheme of this poem as I read it aloud, its message so deeply felt. You so beautifully describe the equilibrium of life that we should strive for. This is such a fav!

(funny wise Poet
how rarely we glean that connection
between that perfect sunrise
and the matter, released in every fire
\'recycled, cyclicality\'
as the Universes undeniable, inevitability...)
a great layering of questing
and thought provoking, lines
thank you!

Dear poet, sadly your words are reverberating around the world. I see it all too clearly in my own country, where too many in government want nothing more than to rewrite our painful history so that no one has to feel bad about anything. Thank you for always speaking truth in wonderful verse.

Good reminder, Soren. the way I interpret this final conclusion of yours sees nature abused beyond repair.
Would you believe the debate is now turning, anxiety expressed at declining birthrates......on an overcrowded planet; that the developed countries are still importing people in order to sustain \'growth\'?

Nice one Soren. You have reached the right conclusion for me here -.it either moves me or it doesn\'t.
First line I\'d take a smattering of an exception to as I have a bit of an allergy to too many rules. I\'d prefer schools with reference to art, with many truants!!

\'ashes to ashes, dust to dust

we need but find that one more
step, breath, blink
till, its all dreams as our essence
of unfathomable, existence
and on
