Why, oh why, did I turn up, to post some crass, uncultured, unrefined comment, beneath my dignity?! lol.
Cos I always turn up. lol.
Now they call out in street \'Hi Clair!\'
If I got nothing sensible to say - oh well, say it anyway!

Amazing how music lifts the soul to a great state of calm, and sometimes trance like delirium.

I\'ll need to come back to this as I do read slow but as I skipped back up to get it a favourite... played your tune and then had to go check! It is the dance song on my daughters bedtime play list....

As you said no words can really replace the feeling of love it can give, different under an environment.

Thank you for your magnificent try ;)
Much peace and respect

Beautifully done. Music as much as poetry can carry us to heights beyond. Each of us with different tastes. Beauty and art are in the eye of the beholder. I love all types of music.

I discovered Debussy in the 1970\'s and Clair de Lune has been my favourite piece of classical music ever since.

I like your tribute, it is fitting.

There are so many recordings of this piece, Here are a couple of notable ones you may care to give a listening:-

the line \"it was a thing with wings\" made me think of \"hope is the thing with feathers\" by Emily. is that allusion on purpose? I love how something so small and delightful as a butterfly represents poetry for you. and poetry is very much like hope!

Halls of justice painted green, money talking
Power wolves beset your door, hear them stalking
Soon you\'ll please their appetite they devour
Hammer of justice crushes you, overpower

the lady justice has always represented a figurehead to a failing system to me. Her blind eyes are blind to see injustice and pain and misery.

good read though, nice and quippy

A marvellously written piece here Rocky, I almost ended up reading it like a rap, with a \"phat beat\" behind it.

You\'ve outlined a great description of what actual justice is, rather the way that man misinterprets it, to serve it\'s greedy needs.

Bravo, and I hope that all is well!

I met her today. Not in person, but in a short online course. The very same picture. I\'m looking at social justice relating to children/young people.
In UK, it seems there are variations for (1) England & Wales. (2) Scotland. (3) Northern Ireland.
Can\'t tell ya much yet - just begun the course!
