Wonderful words Bella and probably very true, my wife was in a care home before she passed and I used to see the residents like this as well.

You know exactly what I mean. I worked with geriatric patients as a COTA for a number of years, and I have the utmost respect for the nurses who care for them. They not only provide excellent medical care, but emotional care as well. They are a very special population. Thank you for your kind comments.

That was a wonderful well written poem. I myself am a nurse who works with the geriatric population and this is so relatable. Great job!

Incongruities often bring issues out of focus into focus. To notice the incongruities in life is one way of expanding our vision. An interesting write.

I also saw this spectacle on the news and I was truly astonished. The way this man showed such sympathy for others as if a symbol of hope. Well done on describing it and I hope peace will come soon!

I have been listening to music all my long life, it is part of my life and I know that the more I get to know about music the more ignorant I realise I am as there is so much music to be heard and played.

It is security that we all search for in an ever changing world where there is none. Change promotes fear and fear distrust. A well written poem that incapsulates the frustrations of life.

Instantaneously, I experience affinity to your ebullient energizing magical way with words, and would feel flattered if a regular exchange, (albeit courtesy flow of electrons) could allow, enable and provide an acquaintanceship to manifest.

:) Friendship akin to meth hid den Magic crystalline beauty

ah, how me heart doth alight
at ability to share
electronic cheerful byte
analogous how snowfall
etches n sketches silhouettes
once dusk shed daylight
spurring this summer e poetic flight
akin to frozen precipitation
sculpted in natural
bas relief ascension
from horizon to heavenly height
albedo effect from
glistening snow light
though downy soft,
n chess tan ordinary knight

wintry skittering
carpet exudes might
sans luminescence
transforming night
effacing terrestrial
and human blemish and/or plight
mother nature quite
adept to a right
human imprint into blinding sight
from pure flakes
of incandescent white
so enjoy this moment
and regale each sight
celestial vault intimates might
aboot five feet ten inches in height
envying those who know
how to meld words
with power to delight.

mellifluous metered rhyming poem buffeted my mindset down a long and winding road, the one taken - upon espying a figurative forked juncture. additional, i favor reading and writing somewhat lengthy poems, and receive slight jabs many anonymous readers dislike prolixity of mine, but passion with English language finds me bounding forth and expounding upon a theme with a plethora of words.
