What a poem outing the tension between control and surrender, connection and isolation, clarity and confusion. It resonates with the universal quest for meaning and understanding in the face of life\'s unpredictability. We a,l are searching for something… πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

Sometimes we trie too hard to control what is happening around us and don\'t just sit back and enjoy the ride. No one likes a back seat driver. Nicely done

Sometime last year I was told that after smoking them out or whatever method of shooing them off to leave the nests be as they are territorial and will not build where there are structures abandoned or not. Love the twist at the end of your poem. They are quite a deterrent!

A fun read and do I detect a metaphor in the gist of this poem? I have had my turn with wasps as well on many occasions sometimes under truce and sometimes war.

Pop over to the UK if you want Winter/cooler now! Some in Uk have dashed off to Spain, etc for about 4 months, in a migration, which they can do if they are retired.

Turns out I\'ve apparently been living in Illinois too long by now since your title keeps me thinking of a certain mayor. This is curious and intriguing, charmingly rendered with excellent imagery and a none too subtly haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing, Sir.

Wow, this poem is rich in personality and self-awareness, offering a glimpse into a mind that values authenticity over conformity. It\'s both humorous and poignant, and I believe encourages readers to appreciate the unique ways we all navigate focus and meaning in our lives. Let’s keep refocusing when we’re distracted or detracted… and all that. Cheers πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ•Š

Suicide passes through most people\'s mind at one time or another most of us brush it off some don\'t. It is a selfish act that affects many others and leaves pain behind. In the case of euthanasia where a person is in chronic intractable pain with no hope for recovery I can understand it as a valid choice it family and friends are included before it happens. A poignant write about a dark and sad situation
