Write to be popular, that is not what I do!

Good write Dan.

I write because I enjoy writing, I share it in the hope that others may like it. People have often asked me why do I not get my poems published, I respond by saying I do not write to make money I write for me and for others with no charge.

Dunno why but today none of the videos on here are giving me audio so i cant hear what youre saying today.

Searching for answers was for me futile. All around were people, especially famous musicians, talking of finding themselves. But the harder i tried the less i found.
So i put it away and stopped looking, found something else to do.
There was no sudden realisation, no flash of inspiration but somewhere along the path of life i found myself... found what i am full of.
Why do i tell all this.... because i want to give u some advice... Stop looking... let it find you. I\'ve told you before to write about things other than yourself .. why?.... because in writing about how you relate to other things, like trees, litter, race relations, brexit, pollution, and all the other crap.... you will find yourself because its all there already in your attitude to these things..... THAT\'S YOU.... you\'re looking for you too fekkin hard mate.
Relax and tell me about the beaches, the fields... any bloody thing.

Hi Dan. When my son was a toddler he was afraid of me. It wasn\'t a nice feeling for me but obviously it wasn\'t nice for him either. I don\'t know how, but it went away. I think he just got used to this big thing with a deep voice who his mum seemed to like.
He\'s 40 years old now and you wouldn\'t doubt the love between us.

Keep on keeping on and dont be cruel to yourself mate. NONE of us are perfect. Just keep on being around and she\'ll stop being so clingy to mum.

If dogs love ya there can\'t be much wrong with ya. You can\'t fool them easily can ya.

That unconditional love has always been within your heart Dan, and in the time that I have known you it is materialising into your being.
It will be with you to the full before very long.

I know that feeling well and it\'s wonderful to know the same is coming back at you.

Look after him, difficult years are ahead as you know when all kinds of temptation will encourage him astray.
Fatherly love is unconditional and so rewarding.

Your reflections can sometime be fleeting but they can be so wonderful that they need to be put into words. I can get lost in them, listening to music, walking with nature and writing words about them can give me such wonderful times as I am sure you have with your family and your dogs.
Keep your words flowing Dan.

I lose myself in my art - just off to do some designs for an album cover for a Christmas release - so little time to get it done. Just hope what I come up with meets with approval. But it keeps my mind occupied. A poignant write Dan.

I guess we all get lost in the day to day humdrum and if we look too closely so the misgivings begin.

Instead, I think of something beautiful, poetic. Sometimes writing about it, as a complete change from writing about me, is really lifting and reminds me - the world really is quite beautiful.
