The Death Of A Poet
Accidental Poet said:

A poet will always have something to write about Teddy. But hopefully more of the finer points you mentioned here in the beautiful things in life, like a poem from yourself dear poet. πŸ˜πŸ‘

There are some famous musicians that keep such a little book and so are there poets. Loved the play on music.

Sounds as reasonable a travel brochure advertising the after life as any other, Teddy. Still keeping an open mind.... but sometimes those advertising glossies and/or even those old parchment jobs can be entertaining - certainly that was so with yours... Bon voyage πŸ˜‡πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Dear Teddy, your lines this morning are so very much in the mood of Poe. He did darkness so well, and so do you. The black shroud of grief and the silence of time stopping still, comes through clearly. Loss is such a hard burden to bear. I hope you have a sunshine Saturday. We have wet and dreary here. Also Poe like. Have a bouquet of weekend flowers πŸ’

Rather spooky in that we both wrote of silence at the same time but you the more cheerful of poets in a somber tone and I the more morose in a tone of longing a most beautiful peace, I hope it is not personal. Fantastic metaphors\"
\"The clocks have stopped ticking
no chimes, no bells
no sound\"
I can hear the silence.
\"death has stolen my warm blanket\" another great line.
\"every clock in my house
now without hands\"
brilliant!
and the last line
\"my love, my love now gone.\" carries a bit of the flavor of Poe. A most wonderful write.

Haunting depiction of death\'s encapsulation. Sad and remarkably beautiful at the same time. This is one to read over and over.

Dear Teddy even your parent’s account of the war has left the generational trauma. The damages are real, be it on the TV screen, or falling from the red skies above. Please keep writing as poems have real impact…

Such good advice in poetic form. Both sides need to be considered and attempted but generally the consequences of disregard fall heavier on the reality side. The format of this poem with the first two stanzas taking on the nabla form or inverted triangle. Is this a reference to femininity, differential operator in vector calculus or just my imagination surrounding \"possibility, possibility\" and not reality. Nicely done my friend.
