Ha ha. That is so me. That’s how my poetry is at the moment. I’ve hardly penned anything new for quite some time. You know Teddy, this little gem will be relatable to many. Happy Friday dear poet 🌹

Those dark days of loss are so incredibly painful. They have to be worked through. No short cuts. You can measure the love by the strength of the pain experienced. Sometimes that can feel intolerable. And then a glimpse of light. Yes like being reborn. Super writing dear Teddy. I felt these words deeply. 🌹

Good advice. Timely message. When we are young, we either think we are immortal or have already lived too long. Thanks for sharing these thoughts.

The inner light becomes an outer glow. Smiles of the heart on the outside grow. Love for what lies within is shown to others through a compassionate grin. Sorry for the ramble but your poem just brought this out. Such a great message to be sent. Lovely

Mustn\'t do this too often Teddy - it\'s too disturbing - especially when I throw the sixties and seventies into the mix.
Don\'t you dare take any notice of me....😊

What I consider my original home is not where I was born but understand the sentiment. There are times that I want to click my heels and say, \"There\'s no place like home.\"
You expressed it very well. Excellent write.

Shakespearian in sound it rings out a shout. I too have memories of my original home that I have not seen in over 20 years yet remains in my memories home. It has changed too much for me to want to see it any more. And as a metaphor this piece might say we ourselves although changed and far from what we used to be still look back to that old self and say that is home and who we are. A glorious write Teddy

A nice little \"co-write\" with the bard here Teddy.15, and bless your love for London, which at the current time, is very much needed in order to truly rebuild our capital.
Bravo, and I hope that all is well.

This is the most beautiful poem to love I\'ve ever read, and there is a tear there ready to drop. Add to this the swans forming a heart and it is perfection. Truly and profoundly meant dear Teddy.

The Devil\'s In Town
AuburnScribbler said:
A brilliantly written piece here Teddy.15, to me, it sounds like a saucily penned diary entry, that either tells the wanting to create such a scene in town, or documents the fear of doing so.
Or perhaps, you have already done it, eh!?
Bravo, and I hope that all is well.

There is nothing quite like a relaxing Sunday with the freedom to do as one pleases, and then to be in Tuscany as well. Just too uplifting and spiritual an experience. it seems ever so fitting that you paint that tree. Loved your poem. - Phil A.
