Such a pleasant though or dream as opposed to those moments paralyzed by sleep where one feels something dreadful is approaching. A most lovely vision of the peacefulness of sleep.
\"And as I close my eyes to dream
my angels voice begins to sing \" A great line that sets the tone.

Thank you my dear sorrenbarret somewhat inspired by your poem yesterday, I\'d like to say for me it\'s about reincarnation however it is reincarnation of many types which ever the reader can see as we are all individual. You humble my page as usual thank you so very much Sir. 🌹

Brilliant! Another write that is on more than one level. Do we not all come from the dark into the light different people at birth whether literal or in various situations throughout life. Even in thought and problems it is so. Knowledge brings the light and in its resolution change. Love this short but insightful piece.

Do-over. Like a makeover. I love the title Teddy. If you can turn darkness into light at almost the flick of a switch, then you are a miracle worker:) A thought provoking piece of brevity and I very much like your chosen artwork. Putting your best face forward when you feel like crap. That is what came to mind here Teddy. Happy Wednesday to you. 🌹

Funny how a person can write something so iconic that after centuries it remains an archetype across the world. The power of the written word and the human mind is amazing. Your poem catches this spirit. I loved your line \" she was the painting within each page
woven with silk into ink\" Thanks so much for renewing the bard\'s memory.

You always manage to get \'em in with your romance, Teddy.

I\'m contemplating a write about the Shakespeare dished up to me at school, which wasn\'t R & J or Much ado, but Hamlet, Macbeth and \"my kingdom for a horse\". All blood and guts. Preparation, not for love, but war!

Many a man scoffs at the thought of being a romantic. But love for one woman can be his biggest weakness, while also his greatest strength.
And the door can swing both ways on that, yes? Long live Romeo & Juliet! 🌹

You truly are the romantic Teddy. A wonderful write. Romeo and Juliet, the fated lovers, gifted to us by Shakespeare. And hundreds of years later, they are still very much “with us”. Great poetry. A Sunday special. 🌹

“Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner…” I do mention it when it comes up….. which happens if I open my North&South – which I do fairly often… Intonations not as strong as they used to be owing to my fraternization with the middle classes and residence in Oz, but definitely (it seems) still there.
I have to admit, Teddy that I miss London (1967 – ’87) when in Australia but was nostalgic for Oz sometimes when there……..
Just know that I do understand, but also know you would miss Florence if you went back.
