I love surprise endings and this one caught me off guard. But as all guardian angels are really just a figment of yourself the beauty and sadness become more poignant and believable. May all your sad days become happy and tears of joy. i loved the piece

Dear Teddy, we all need an Angel in our lives. Your beautiful poem also brings in the city of my birth and early childhood memories. Plenty to be thankful for. Have a happy Thursday.

Fishing

I love the play on words and like throwing in the towel it is over when it\'s over. This seems to be the case with fish and people as well. It reads so playful and reminds me of all the times I went fishing and all the fish I threw back and a couple of times I have caught the same fish twice. In relationships I have caught the same person more than once as well. So nicely done.

Not what we mean by fishing here. It\'s a different metaphor. Good one, though.

You are certainly giving Edgar a run for his money Teddy.

\"but the form in which you choose to see it \" - a line which has so much truth in it, and not only with respect to grief.

Reflecting back to younger days of where you grew up and feeling the connection to those places is special within all of us Teddy. I have the same feelings of my hometown of Scituate, Massachusetts. Our favorite memories are always calling us to come back. ๐ŸŒน

A sight to behold .. I remember when it was going up .. the Eye that is .. and of seeing it in motion from both my old mates top flat window and from the air upon landing .. for you, coming home and seeing such familiar landmarks it must be even more special ... Neville ๐ŸŒน

Memories stimulated by a fragment of the past. Such an interesting way of representing it in choosing \"the eye\" an eye that looks back into time and sees the past. Oblivious to what is happening it sees times gone by. Sweetly nostalgic. Loved it Teddy

I\'m glad you do visit your old familiar London places sometimes, Teddy. And It\'s true, not only are the places familiar , but the freshly reawakened memories that go with them.

Art comes from the heart not the senses. Surging emotion will find a way out. Beethoven though deaf created some of the greatest music. Homer, supposedly blind, left us the Iliad and Odyssey . Jose Feliciano, Ray Charles, Steve Wonder, Roy Orbison all come to mind. A most beautiful tribute friend.
