Dearest Teddy, you have captured in this poem the pain and grief that we, as a nation, suffered that day. I remember the time and place when I heard the news, watching moment by moment as it was unfolding, and then seeing the second tower fall in real time. How could this be happening? You have paid tribute to all those first responders who rushed in when duty called, and gave their lives. It is with a greatful heart that I thank you for honoring all those who suffered and died on that day.

A captivating memorial of a dark day that has directly or indirectly affected all of us. Powerfully stated in a moving poem.

I remember exactly where I was! These painful memories remind us how fragile we are! A horror! This is such a great praise to those who were so violently taken away! πŸ™ πŸ’–

\"Glorious,\" may also describe your artwork and your poem. It was a most refreshing stroll through the woodland. Colors are amazing, bright, and beautiful. \"Dancing shadows of leaves,\" \"skeleton of the great oak,\" add life and vitality to your poem, Loved it. - Phil A.

Dear Teddy, You pack into three lines the hopes, fears, happys, sads, pain, love, that are a lifetime. The eyes are truly the window of the soul, as you have so beautifully written! May your eyes always shine and your tears be those of joy!

Inventing the time machine could be a lot like Forrest Gump\'s box of chocolates \"You never know what you\'re going to get\". For myself, I\'d have to say the 60\"s, when I was young and on the cusp of discovering the world, and who I was in it. You pose a real philosophical quandry in a few short lines, for the twists and turns of life are never in plain sight. You\'ve made me think real hard my friend, and I think I\'ll take the rest of the day off to contemplate. lol
