SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST ? A Blank Verse Sonnet
onepauly said:

your still on that pedestal. something to stir the dormant muse? the industrial revolution has nothing to do with technology. technology does not pollute. don\'t mix them together. technology is the only answer! your on your own now.

I appreciate it all. I have my way of thinking and do but it is not more important than yours. I live in a place where I keep the nature as much as preserved as possible and love to plant more trees 🌲 after planting need to take time to take care till they go by they own. Love this planet after all. And all the diversity. Thanks for sharing.

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST ? A Blank Verse Sonnet

are we on a crusade? I would like to help with this. but what can I do? I\'m only one. compared to the billions on this planet. how can we think and do things together. in all these countries. believe me their are a lot of countries. and all of them have different thoughts and different governments. I think its all lost. unless we can invent the technology to help us. I think we are all hypocrites under our masks. how can all these countries come together as one? and how many languages do we speak in order to get together? how do we get together with all these wars we will have in the future? oh, there will be wars. just because this makes you angry does not mean your going to win. theres much more I could say, but I\'m not on a crusade. and if there is to be a crusade are you going to lead it? to foolish right? this planet has been living for almost 5 billion years. you think its going to end now? in our lifetimes. I just say get off that pedestal with all the other preachers. me? I take it one day at a time. so be it.

Thanks Brian for this beauty. Politics are the last thing I want to think about. If I can not do anything about I just don\'t think about. I live the thoughts for someone that can. Thank you anyways

It\'s naughty really - I dunno about \'praying without ceasing\' but I hardly get started sometimes. I should wear the carpet out on me knees, like \'Praying Hyde\' a gentlemen who followed the above verse!

A fine write B. Well, I know no princes - but I understand what the verse means. Also, it says not to trust in horses for battle, or similar words. I got no horse either, so I won\'t be trusting in \'em either!

I\'ll add this hopefully not to offend, they can play god but I can too as I believe myself more than those fools.

I live in Florida and we are surrounded by water. We have ponds and canals everywhere. We have a beautiful park on the neighborhood where one rent canoes and go down the river. Very soft. The beach is just about 7 miles away because I live in Jupiter Farms. I\'m not so good with water though. Love the beach when the water is soft and not wavy. Thanks for your beautiful poem.

I too live near water. Love rafting or canoeing down a river. Don\'t get to boat as much but I love it! Much like I loved your poem! I envy that you can go on cruises to all those places. Great job! Hugs--Christina

Your poetry packs a strange punch. I can\'t really put my finger on it. If I had to say, it would be that it\'s both playful and serious at the same time. It\'s really perplexing. Anyways, well done. Happy writing friend.

Good write but another things that you have to remember is that us Brits were the ones that started upsetting the Native American culture in America, the Pilgrims were not all saints!
