My daughter in law was at the scene just an hour before it happened last night. Thankfully our police do not routinely carry arms - but grateful to those who do. They were magnificent in getting to the scene and resolving it within 8 minutes of the call - must be the best police force in the world.

The lesser of two evils Brian? I doubt mad men would respond to \'Now please put those knives down and come along quietly\'.

That\'s it Brian, I think! Things get into people\'s MINDS, and then control or take-over them. Evil video games for children; murders on TV (load of rubbish really), etc don\'t help either.

That\'s why they are called terrorist because they do not fight soldiers but attack innocent civilians who cannot protect themselves . Like a fungus that attacks a garden , you can\'t treat each plant individually but must treat the whole garden to destroy it . And the same for terrorist . You must attack the whole problem worldwide or it will keep coming back . A fungus doesn\'t care what plant it destroys but that it must destroy .

A sincere Amen to this remembrance of recent London and Manchester atrocities Brian - - the text you chose has wise admonition to leave vengeance to God and pray for those left with much grief.

The melting ice has destabilized the Earth axis . No longer does the sun set due west but has moved 3° Northwest . The sun now shines 3° degrees more on the north and south pole which will increas faster melting of ice . Which in turn may result in more of the Earth turning on it\'s axis . If it moves just 2° NW more all ice on planet earth will melt . Sea level will rise displacing 80% of the worlds population .

Wonderful poem about owls. They are beautiful to look at. Your authors notes were very informative, as always. On your note whether a bird should be caged, that is a firm NO, they deserve to fly and be free! Owl hugs, Christina

I once had an amazing experience with a Great White Owl in the mountains of NC. It is too long to relate here, but it spawned a poem that I will share at some point. Love your poem, Brian!

I have watched Barn Owls in the wild a great deal, as I have other owls. The unfortunate thing about Barn Owls is that there are more of them in captivity than there are in the wild.

Unique poem about the wonderful honeybee! You should see the huge container of honey I keep! It goes in my tea. I\'ve also found a teaspoon or two is a reliever of the hiccups. We must do what we can to save the honeybees as people are mentioning. An excellent poem!! Hugs--Christina

Bees are threatened today by defoliants. Honey can simply be stored at room temperature in a jar and does not go bad or loose its fresh goodness. Again, another poetic perfection from Brian.
