MAORI RELIGION : ANGELA

So interesting to read of Maori culture and religion. Thank you for including The Haka dance too which is exciting and full of vibrant male movement depicting the meaning of life and death. Spirituality can be found in all elements of human interpretation of how life on earth began. Thank you for sharing your research on Maori belief dear Angela.

An admirable survey of all the leaders who gave various ways toward what they saw as American greatness - - - some feasible and some dangerous these aims are indelibly locked into hearts beating for peace on this earth.

A fine write Brian. Now, we here have got enough to do, with our politicians in the UK!
I must have a cuppa with the Prime Minister. She attends a church with her hubby only about 2 miles from where I live. Oohhh!

USA ~ 9/11 ~ WHERE WERE YOU ? A Sonnet Lament
ForeverJesus7 said:

I remember 9/11 as though it were the other day. My first class of the day started. I was in eighth grade science. Then the school phone in the class rung, and our next door teacher rushed through the door yelling, \"Quick! Turn on the news! Turn on the news\". My teacher Miss Stone quickly turned on the class TV. and the channel was already on the news. We turned it on just in time to see the second plane crash into the twin tower live. I remember seeing my teacher put both of her hands over her mouth. For about the first few hours, I do not think a lot of the kids, including myself, realized the severity of the situation. They were all making jokes at first, but at the time it seemed so unreal.

GRATZIE LAURA ~ Si un giorno molto triste per USA e il MONDO ! We only saw it on the TV (In IOWA) 8:42 am N Tower then 9:03 am S Tower it was then we knew it was not an accident but a terrorist attack ! To see it from your Office Window and then see them collapse must have seemed like \"The End of the End of the World !\" I will pray for you tomorrow ~ Abbracci e Baci Tu Amico BRIAN XOXOX

Caro Amico Brian,
Un ricordo che non dimenticherò mai! Ricordando la perdita della mia amica è tanto dolorosa!
I will be at the memorial tomorrow to remember and honor my dear friend...Barbara! For me everything seemed normal the morning of ...till my colleague asked me to look out the window to see the plumes of smoke coming out of the first tower. We thought it was a “simple” fire until I saw the plane ramming into the second tower. We realized it was not a “simple” fire!
Nothing has ever been the same! I appreciate your thoughtful share of that tragic day!

We all will ever see those twin towers and their tragic downfall that terrible day - we know where we were and what we were doing because it was as this sonnet states so \"out of this world\"\" and you being there was an added experience of what terror can happens out of the blue. Thanks Brian for the share of what folk must have going through on that shocking day.

Your poem reminds us we really don\'t have any control. I could feel how impressed you were, how innocent. Repeating Everything seemed normal works really well. Maggie

A lovely write, but sometimes I add \'I wish....\'
Well, I will keep calling into some dull churches.
The \'geriatric\' part can\'t be helped in some places. At least they are faithful. But are some places \'dying off\' spiritually and physically?
Sometimes it seems some outside of church are having more fun than those inside, even if playing football, going shopping, etc. A pity! Rant over! lol.

HOLA SWEETHEART : Love this song and the duet by Johnny & Kriss is perfect! The line in your Poem : On a Sunday Mornin\' Sidewalk : With my BABY by my side : It made me cry because I love all our Sundays in Essex and we were together all day! Walking to Church sometimes on the door (Greeters!) hugging the folks as they came in and then your Mums (Sunday Roast) for dinner or my Mamas for Tapas y Tortillas & Rioja. Those days are 12 months away and it makes me melancholy! Loved our SKYPE earlier : its 10am now and Ruth (she sends her Love) & I are just having supper Toast & NZ Honey and hot milk with honey scrumptious! Todo de mi Amor : Muchos Abrazos y Besos : ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Sidewalk? What\'s a sidewalk asks he with tongue in cheek. I\'ll ponder this as I walk down the pavement to the art show in the School at the bottom of the Lane. Sales slow yesterday but hopeful for today.
