Thanks HONEY for focusing on WATER on NEW YEAR DAY ! When GOD created the EARTH he saturated it with Liquid Water and gve us an ambient temperature of 15C and the Sun to drive the water cycle on which all life depends. Blood is mainly water an it carries nutrients and oxygen to our cells an CO2 and waste products away from our cells ~ Sap which is also mainly water does the same for plants. Water is awesome and a Universal Solvent ~ cherish it and never ever waste it ! Hugs for 2017 ~ BRIAN

I\'m aware of the people who are unfortunate enough not to have the experience of being loved at such a special time over the festive period. your poem brought a tear to my eye for those lonely people which you helped remind us of. a very well expressed bit of writing. top marks..

I like this one WBL..
I am also a lover of
Nature and go out of
My way to avoid hurting
Them.... As a boy I would
Bring all sorts of waiths
And straths home with me.
Basically any animal I
Found...

Oh lord I am such an idiot
I\'ve just realised you are
A woman.... I thought you was
A man....in my defence I never
Read the bit we put about
Ourselves... please forgive
Me.... I am giving myself
A slap right now.....

This is so good WBL
I have a son and two
Daughters and have been
Stood there as they have left
I cried as a baby, my wife
Was the keep it together one
I mean they were only going
For two weeks....just kidding
It is the hardest thing a parent
Can do is let go when they go
Two went to university and one
Has her own family of whom
I have 3 beautiful grand children
But we are a loving family and
They are always coming back.
I really love this poem...
Well done....

THANKS HONEY ~ for a very uplifting and beautiful poem as we enter 2017 ! We all have loved ones and Family who we are separated from. The poem reminds me to pray each day for all of them ~ that they will be kept safe. Especially for those in the Military or Zones of Danger. Thanks for caring and sharing ~ Hugs BRIAN.
