I loved the poem and riding with the sea of sorrows...... can you tell me what you meant by \"censored souls\" - your garden nook is so cozy and inviting!

Some vivid imagery there, I could see rough seas, though I am not sure I could paint them.

A fine write M. Sounds a bit hymnal. I could maybe turn it to a hymn-poem, if you wish?
We got a bit of rhubarb at back of our garden. You on that gin yet?!

Super sonnet, always leave the shadows behind you.

Did you get the rhubarb and ginger gin?

Ha ha ha - - what hidden depths you quill in today\'s epigram Michael -- - love this cheeky but clever touch of fun. Great picture of a colourful corner out in your garden too.

Michael,
Thank you for the picture! Very colorful! I like the variety of flowers! Do the other borders have flowers also?
The epigram is hilarious! From reading all the comments, I see you got a lot of mileage out of that number three! I could make a joke, but I’ll restrain myself! I’ve enjoyed my first read of the day very much!
I’ll have my gin and tonic (one of my favorites) later on in the day! You said it needs to be made properly! What’s your recipe? Another favorite of mine is a very dry Martini!
Thanks again, Michael! You’re awesome!

If I wore them I would be singing castrato! Good fun write.

You need a small table next to that chair so that you can have a glass of something cooling standing on it while you sit and survey your estate.

THANKS MIKE ~ HOW WE TURN OUT at say 21 ~ is a combination of NATURE (genetics) & NURTURE (environment) and even monozygotic TWINS reared apart show great similarities ! That is explored in the DRAMA ~ Blood Brothers ! I have lots of traits of my Birth Parents and Angela\'s Parents are lovely just like Her ! Love the Narcissi ~ Please check MLK ~ Thanks Brian.

Michael,
Love the pic of your ice follies and your fine epigram! Your garden must be so colorful. Can you take a pic of your entire garden and post it?

One of the great things about daffs is that the different varieties all come into bloom at different times. Started in Feb with February Gold and I\'ve posted different varieties since then - today it\'s the turn of Ice Follies

Love the pithy fun in this Epigram - I think quite a few who think they sing on key sound like a Tom to my ears Michael. - that picture of Hyacinths is so clear I can breathe in their scent. Good work again.

Thanks MICHAEL ~ love the blooms ~ My MUM\'s are hya cinth I saw them on Sunday ~ It\'s the Rain. I\'m on holiday from College and it\'s sunny here (Essex) so I\'m reaching the parts if the Garden ~ She & Dad can\'t reach ! We only have grass round the flats but I have an indoor pot of HYACINTHS nice smell !
Our English Teacher taught us an EPIGRAM ~ Was like a TELEGRAM short but more PITHY ! At 14 we thought PITHY sounded like a rude lavatorial word ! Growing up was such fun ! Please check my latest POEM ~ There are TEN Mild epigrams ! Yours JOHN

Michael,
All I can say is...
Loved the pic and the epigram...thank you for the explanation! The rest has been well said by Lorna! She must have be a professional editor...and a great one at that...infusing comedy into her comments! I love it!
The comments amongst you, Lorna, Gold, and Orchi are very entertaining! Great reads! Thank you!

Michael! And your explanation is longer and much more serious than the poem..... I laughed! If you see Orchi\'s entry this morning, after the organ plays another video title appears \"How to Fix Flat Singing\" - that just set me off and I\'m giggling myself silly (er)..... you three are a riot.......Oh! And I have a hyacinth growing in the middle of some snowdrops (who appear to migrate every year and show up in a new place)........ it\'s a bloomin\' miracle......

A fine write Michael, if we ever get past the first line: \'Uncontrolled passion\'. Swoon! lol.
Some poets get niggly when I put \'alway\' instead of \'always\'. It can be poetic licence, to get something to rhyme with \'say\', \'day\', etc.

Good senryu write Michael.

Just one thing the second line of the first senryu should it be unwelcomed, there is no d on the word.

THANKS FOR REMINDING US MIKE ~ The whole World\'s a Stage and we mere players ~ BUT ~ We all need an audience ! Consequently a POEM is not a POEM until it is read and its not christened until it\'s recited to at minimum of at least one listener ! A \"sans mot\" Cartoon of course is not a Cartoon until it has been seen etc ! I have small group of MPS friends who both read and comment on my Odd Odes (and v.v) 5 is a good score and (these days) 10 exceptional ! I used to be on a Poetry Programme where the number of comments was flagged up ! If I saw one with ZERO comments I always added ONE to encourage ~ OK ~ Your Friend BRIAN ! Please check my Poem and my FUSION on Chocolate ! Thanks B.
