Good quin-wotsits Michael. Second one - Erm, yes, the lights are on in the house, but is anyone home? Could apply to house, or to the \'house\' of people themselves! lol

A dream of a read Michael --the title is stunning and I love the imagery which classical writers knew possessed power -- great stuff your recent postings my friend.

Yes!

I love it when poets who can see beauty in puddle sometimes tell us how it is...

Bet you didn\'t put that on canvass?

For one who often loves to show his sense of humour on here you have today shown us that you are indeed a great poet.
Re reading this piece i could \'feel\' the peaceful joy of awaking to the welcome of a new bright morning in harmony with our natural surround.
Truly a pleasure to read. Into my favs.

Michael, your word choices are just incredible! Does it all just come to you, or do you use help like the net or books? Don\'t give away your secrets, just wanted to tell you that you are an incredible writer!

Rhyming \"diocese\" with \"cheese\" is bold to say the least. I love your style, as always.

Ahh, you started me off singing now! A hymn with similar title: \'Let all the world in every corner sing\'. A square world then?!

One of the phrases i use is \'he/she\'s not exactly the sharpest tool in the box\' which conveys a similar meaning.
\'If he were a ghost he\'d be too mean to give you a fright\'
They probably call a collander a strainer stateside whereas here its simply the release of flatulence whilst constipated.
Please don\'t draw mental pictures.
Love your pic, two birds with their wings out of sync (a rare sight... how do they do that, u never see them taking lessons).

Too much \'Anglo-Saxon\' for me! Ok, I know what a trunk is, and I do wear trousers instead of pants, but when it comes to sandwiches, crumbs, biscuits, or colanders or calenders, whatever, I get lost!
But your poem does sound nice, even if I don\'t understand it! :-)

I knows \'castellations\' too - bits of churches. Sometimes it\'s where it\'s painted to look like castle walls. It\'s not an actual castle wall though!
