You will see my repetition of some words in my poems. Is that why I make them quite log often, so people won\'t spot repetitions?! I\'ve not got past coruscating! lol.

Ahh, so the mountains may not be misty.
You can get away with a syllable less in some words, e.g. heav-ens\', or as \'heavens\'.
\'Go\' - single syllable starting with g, but of no use whatsoever here! lol.
How about \'grey\'? But then \'Grey granite\' what?

Make them granite mountains instead of granite hills then? Or misty mountains and granite hills?
I don\'t know much about them hills and mountains. How is their geography, climate, etc? lol.

A fine write and pic Michael. Oooh I know. I fuss over rhyming \'be\' with \'see\' maybe too often! I may simply opt for \'we\' instead. I wangle it in somehow.
Even if I say it back-to-front poetically, e.g.
\'You there day good a have\'.

Great write Michael. Loved the lines:
\"The tapering skies reached down
and shook the hands of misty hills\"
Great imagery in words.

Ohhhhh MICHAEL you have excelled with your ABSTRACT this morning ! I am a SPEILOGGER (Potholer) and it revived scary memories ! I am the man in white in the RHS lower corner ~ dwarfed by the rock in the cave ! My only escape to Terra Firma is by a system of fragile and loosely attached rope ladders ~ Thanks for scaring ! I love the RHYMES ~ parodies of Nursery Rhymes ~ sont tousjours amusant ! My fave has to be DAISY ~ DAISY ~ my brother and I had a TANDEM \"At length it arrived at length\" Please check my second Teddy Bear POEM ~ I have written it from a Male perspective because I am old enough to know all the YANG things that are a turn-off for YIN ~ it will always be so ! Yours BRIAN

THANKS MICHAEL ~ Good value 7 for the price of ONE ! SO I have decided to rank them ! 1. (No 7) Apposite for Steve Andy & I ? 2. (No 4) Resonates with a certain so called \"Gentleman\'s Dinner\" in LONDON ! 3. (No 5) Visions of ANGELA ! 4. (No 2) O Yes I remember it well ! 5. (No 3) JOY really does disperse SORROW ! 6. (No 6) Mountain Streams (like Mountain Love) require a little SUN (TLC) to sparkle ! 7. (No 1) I am much too young to have experienced this ~ yet !
To my (intuitive ) mind the VISUAL complements the COUPLET ! The couplets are about the vicissitudes of life which are often conditioned by decisions ! To my mind the visual is about DECISION exemplified by the crossroads ! There is also a sinister Creature lurking on the LHS. Decisions are always influenced by a plethora of factors. The overall message for me is \"Always LOOK TWICE ~ before you LEAP ONCE ! Thanks once again for a very thoughtful post ~ on FRIDAY ! Yours with His Heart on His Sleeve ~ BRIAN ~ Fait Acompli !
