A fine write Michael. I won\'t even attempt that style for one of me hymn-poems! Gasp!
Those ladders may be found in old towers, church steeples, etc. No use to me. I get vertigo!

Michael,
A fine diamante illustrated
by a fine painting! Not easy
to accomplish...but you did!
The painting reminds me of
a village of long ago! The
foreground seems like part
of the village square where
much took place!
Great work!

It was almost more difficult trying to write the definition than it was writing the poem. Lol . As for the ladder it was made in the days when they used branches for the uprights - and I wouldn\'t want to climb it either.

The poem is very clever. It is too early in the morning to read the explanation though, I haven\'t had my cuppa yet.

Very good painting but I wouldn\'t climb that ladder!

Michael, I really loved the painting. It has a nostalgic look to it. Now I know why Andy was inspired. Great poem too. You have a two-prone talent at hand my friend.

Thanks for sharing MICHAEL ! Love the PICTURE ~ very nostalgic ~ we still have some houses like that in ESSEX and of course several Stately Homes. It is true ~ if all is quiet you can here the sounds of yesteryear preserved in the Wattle & Daub. If you are especially favoured \"deja-vu\" will also enable you to mingle with former inhabitants ! Love the nostalgia replete in the Ode ! Yours BRIAN

May those emotions print inside the house forever. Good write Michael.

The artwork is wondrous, when I opened the poem the artwork caused me to gasp, literally, so before I read the poem I wrote a poem about the art which you will find as my poem for today. Thank you for making my day.
