A fine write Fay.
Mentioning evening - we may enjoy the lighter evenings, but does our body-clock interpret it that it\'s not time to sleep until it\'s dark/night?

Evening,
sweet evening.
You rich
red blooded
time of day.
Undermining
my demeanor.
Exciting my
desires.
Enhancing
the chasm
you left.
Evening is special as we relax and prepare for bed and the intimacy of closeness when the essence of two is the rawness of initial undaunted love and passion. Impossible to ignore the gaping hole when such is no longer the glue which bonds each day to the next is taken away.
Yes your poem, so well composed cut to the quick this morning. Whilst in empathy my comment was written.
Your pictures are vivid.

Yes.. in a word!... and then NO! For, as you well know, love is too complex for rules.
You teaser! This short piece took some reading. I thought you had lost me with this but i read and re-read until ... well ... to mis-quote a phrase overused by a certain MPS writer \'persistence was key\'.

Good Evening Faith - Brian Here - Thanks for a Lovely Love Poem about the Transience of Love ! Angela & I have only been married six weeks so we are alwys stressing the permenance (at least 50 years - DV) of our Relationaship ! Your POEM mentions some of the factors in TRANSIENT LOVE ! Gazing - Memory - Passig - Quiet Tears - Destiny - Brief Moment - The Stars - Loves Lightning _ AWESOME. You know Men are strange creatures ! Once (when I was between Girl Friends) I fell in LOVE with a GIRL in a Bright Green Coat coming down an Escalator (in a Large Store) when I was going up. Iwas mesmerised and as soon as I reached the top I ran down the escalator to try and Find her but I never did & never will (it was 12 years ago !) However all the feelings you mentioned came into play ~ QUE SERA SERA ! However GOD had other Plans for Me - ANGELA ! Over three years ago I saw a VISION across a crowded Room at a Christmas Dance - I flew to her side - and the rest is History !
Blessings & Peace & Joy

I mirror the words of Goldfinch. Beautiful words Fay.
Love lost leaves a memory with each sunset. A heartfelt tear, deep longing, a gratitude, and a shrug .... then the walk back into a life without.

I was brought-up old fashioned. Using money as a key to class acceptability was frowned upon according to mamma and papa as money could only achieve the status of nouveau riche and the accompanying lack of manners and etiquette was as evident as a claxon in a symphony orchestra.
My own class status finds me financially poor but exceedingly well bred.
Hovis in a Wonderloaf packet one might say.
Love it or hate it \'class\' exists. A minority choose to fight it but to what end i\'m unsure. It is a battle which will not be won by fighting but interbreeding I think.

MORTE DU KELP EN CINQ SEPTAINES
Brian here - Good Evening Fay ! Being a Coastal Dweller - Like yourself - I too can enjoy the elegance of KELP with it s roots in the sand - with its noble stem enabling its *leaves* to surface for photosynthesis . Swimming in KELP enables one to appreciate its elegance & form. To see it stranded dead & dying on the shore is a sad sight for sore eyes ! Love the Poem that this tragedy has spawned (V 1.) Alas too often on our Beach Walks we concetrate on other Flosom & Jetsom and ignore the indignity of the stranded SEA KELP ! The scene is graphically described in V 2. Thanks for including the poignant photo of what so moved your MUSE ! V 3. You suggest a dialogue with the disloged KELP - Beautiful ! V 4. You marval @ its struggle. V 5. You lovingly return it to its appropriate resting place - Wicked
Please check *I love Angela because* - THANKS.
Blessings & Peace & Joy

Touched in the right places and the poetic beauty in you is fired to emotion. Here we see what I and most others see as detritus brought magestically forward for our contemplation.
How perceptive to reach for the soul of this kelp upon the brutal unforgiving shoreline. The place which forever confuses our senses with both tragedy and romance
