YESTERDAY ~ Love was such
An easy Game to play
O We remember Yesterday !

BRIAN HERE ~ Thanks for sharing FAY. When Angela & I first met (She was 28 - I was 33) we both felt we could share our experiences of those we had Loved & Lost. Especialy as neither of us had been Engaged or Married. The *words* in your Poem ~ ring very true in both our experiences. We still *Remember Yesterday* but it makes what we have NOW even more precious ! Married (for almost a Month !) & in our first Home together ~ AWESOME !

Blessings & Peace & Joy
Love Brian & Angela 💛💛💛

Fay, great poem, and that first line \'harbor of need\' is just incredible. We are all like ships hoping to dock in the \'harbor of need\' every once in a while to load up on that need, just to sail away again.

I certainly do like to think my picture-words stay in readers minds to help resurrect their own stories D.A. - - and your generous comment as always is extremely appreciated my friend.

Once tasted, the richest flavour remains in our souls to drain our resources of desire.
Along comes the practicality of common sense and erects a barrier of \"i can do without more of that wrecking my life\" safely around us.
But oh dear,.. we erected it ourselves and we know just where to find it\'s weak spots..... and somehow so do the enemy.

Dontcha just love it when ya see the pictures ya paint in the minds of yareaders.... or not maybe lol

Do I read betrayal of the most sacred trust revealed here.
A hurt so personal. A hurt which could only be inflicted by the most important person in one\'s life. No other hurt could cut so deeply. Cutting through bonds as it stabs to the heart, killing a flame kindled for years. Nothing compares to the anguish of the moments of accepting this worst of all treachery is a certainty.
And then of course the \"what do I do now\" situation to be addressed.

All there in your words today, all the more vivvid to those who\'ve worn the T-shirt.

So do you reckon i should go for a paddle?

I was of course thinking of a skinny dip but the last time i tried that my reflection scared me to bits and the birds stopped singing.

BRIAN HERE ~ Good Evening Fay ~ I love DANDELIONS in all their stages. Elegant BUD - Beautiful Flower perfect structure - Awesome YELLOW HUE - Delicate in Parachute Form - I always blow them to the four winds to generate more & more beautiful FLOWERS ! My Gramps made delicious Dandelion & Burdock from Dandelion roots. As your poem says the Dandelion has its place in the Food Chains & Food Webs. Who are we (mere mortals) to argur with that ! I teach my Nursery Nurses (Environmental Studies) to teach the Children - to respect all Flora & Fauna & Insectivora equally and never to destroy it ! Some of them have never handled a Worm or a Spider and unfortunately they pass their PHOBIAS on to the Kids. If we are wise we wont upset Mother nature (again) by despising one of her most lovely of FLOWERS - the DANDELION - AMEN !

Blessings - Peace & Joy

I am one of those who love the humble dandelion - there are banks of them locally and their bright cheerful blooms are a sheer delight. Fine tribute to a great plant.

these \'piss the beds\' are without doubt beautiful to look at... but I prefer to view them in someone else\'s garden

I guess they are a bit like Marmite.. well depicted here....

Indeed the dandelion is a beautiful creation though scorned by me and most for its reproductive efficiency mocking our desire for bowling green lawns of unnatural domination.

A wonderful tribute to the positives of this plant/weed/abomination/curse. At a time when most gardners are engaged in a war upon it. Why are we robbed of our elms when it could have been the dandy?
