ANGELA HERE - Thanks FAY for a lovely rhyming Poem & Picture extolling the virtue of my fave Spring Flower. I like the Spanish & English ones equally ! Your Picture shows the unique *Carpet of Blue* created by the Woodland Bluebells. The fact that they are *transient* - due to th canopy closing as the leaves develope and competition from other plants - adds to their beauty and intrinsic femininity !

Ahh YES FAY ~ The curse of Calliope ! Real Poets do not look at the World like other People. They sacrifice Absolutes for Alliteration ~ Meaning for Mataphor & Sense for Simile ! They think in Rhyme not Reason & sacrifice Plain English for Assonance & Resonance ! Metre is more important than *Matter of Fact* and Classical Form than Clarity. This creates an internal rift between Poetry and *The lingo of the Common Man*. Modern Poetry is a betrayal of 5,000 Years of Proper Poetry ! Classical Poetry find itself in the same Boat as Classical Music whose Meaning & Moods are (of essence) much less accessible than Pop Music ! If a *POEM* lacks mystique it isnt a POEM. MPS is an *Open House* and the contibutions range from Very Good to Good to Not so Good and a great minority - can only be classified as UGLY. Having such a well designed site - on which to hone our skills - is a priviledge - we should never abuse it - AMEN

Now you\'ve got my grey matter pulsing with thoughts of \"is that what i do then?\".... transcending normal was second nature i\'ll admit.

When it comes to poetry, I don\'t really know what I\'m doing, but I\'ll have a go!

HI FAY BRIAN HERE ~ We have the same expectation in the North East (as in the SOUTH WEST) *Waitin\' fer tha BOUT tae cum in* A Friend of Mine ~ from the S E Coast (Lowestoft) Seamans Mission gives a talk *The Price of Fish an\' Chips* for WI\'s etc. It is only when one lives on the Coast that one appreciates the real cost of a *Nice bit o\' Haddock* for supper. The price is paid by the Fishermen ~ Their Families & Communities, WE support the Seamans Missiion form our Church & Every Year we get a chance to do Two Two hour sessions singing carols INSIDΒ£ Sainsburys and raise about Β£400 each night for the Mission, After ONE HOUR Sainsburys serve us with hot Mince Pies & Coffee. Some of our Memebers wrk in the Store. Angela & I never grumble about the Price of Fish. We have it at least twice a week in our Diet ~ Yummy ! Please check our POEM *Things We Believe in*

Good Evening FAY - Brian here. Thanks for an inspiring Poem ! We have all lost Loved Ones close to US and in my case mainly 50+ but some (due to accidents etc) much younger. Also those esecially close (Members of MY Extended Family & Church Friends) have all had an Assurance of Eternal Life. So I know where they are - in Heaven - and even though I cant communicate with them (I dont accept Spiritualism) I can feel their presence ! Additionally I know that I will meet them again some day when I pass over into the Spiritual Dimension - OK. Angela & I are apprehensive about the uncertain times in which we live especially as she is working in the Hospital. But we do know that should one of us DIE Prematurely (before we are 70 ! Our Ruby Wedding is 2060 !) we will be reunited again in GLORY ! We do visit the Graves of Loved Ones in Essex not to communicate but just to show they are still really loved - AMEN ! I hope that helps ?

Blessings & Peace & Joy

I\'ve thought about this quite a lot as i am a believer in reincarnation and the spiritual existence before reincarnation. I believe we have a limited awareness as conscious beings, this is in fact established fact as it is proven our brain patterns/waves change in sleep and slumber and indeed in prayer. Grief and loss are conscious brain feelings. If one prays in a state of grief then temporarily the feeling is lifted away because our brain waves changed pattern.
So what does the spirit see once it has passed from this plane of existence. Well, more clearly one hopes but whether the ability to \'see\' or pass \'things\' to those still in this existence is actually there.... who knows?.... it is romantic and poetic to play with hopes and feelings in this sphere for our wishes and desire run wild. I\'m not sure whether this makes any sense to you ..... i am no fine wordsmith and i find words get awfully clumsy in these subjects.
