Singing \'hey-ho me laddie oh, away on the tide... we must go\'.

Brings to mind the faces i have seen around Newlyn. What they do day to day would surely terrify me land lovers soul (though i do love to be on the coast).

Your pen paints a lovely picture of traditional Cornish seafarers lives without romancing the pretty bits.

A fine sea-faring write Fay. Sometimes I have to make do with the pond at the back of the Co-op, not being near the sea! lol.

Thanks FAY - ANGELA here ! As you know NZ is two Slim Islands consequently the Coast is very esturine ! Like the Corwall Peninsular - Auckland has two Coasts East & West and I love to watch the Sea ebbing & flowing in the Esturies any time of the Day or Night. The EBB & FLOW always reminds me that my Brian will soon *flow back again* straight into my
waiting ARMS ~ AMEN ! I often portray myself as the *Lady on the Shore !*

The little boy casts out his fishing line and pulls in the ebb and lets go with the flow of the estuary you write so eliquently about. A place I and others would without hesitating retiring to. Such beauty not only within the diversity of sea creatures, but within this naturally expressed poem. Estuary forever....

Though Fay is a lovely feminine name, we really could rename you Dawn you know.
Once again my mind is transported into the scene and i smell the salt air, hear the wildfowl fly past, the gentle lap of ebbing tide perhaps.

Thank you for this brief transport away from my laptop to wild imaginings. Much needed.

Your obvious enthusiasm for all things of this earth both natural and naturerous (new word) but applicable methinks, spills over and leaves your reader in no doubt that poetry is not only a magnificent art form and means of expression but a force to be reckoned with too....... A mighty fine write Fay.....

A fine write Fay. I shall soon be a Snail-saver again, on any damp Autumnal mornings or evenings.
I have to spot them before the dreaded \'crunch\' underfoot.
I speed their journey, and move them from the pavement to the grass. Well, it takes them a while to cross the \'road\'(path)!

Wow, you have outstanding skill of capturing the very \'miniscule\' beauty of nature. \'\' Silvery snail-tracks signed
little pathways of night \'\' the imagery and innate beauty this speaks of is just lovely. A wonderful poem. Thank you for sharing Fay.
