What? Your head?! Yes, at some point it\'ll fall right off and the corpse will be declared \"decapitated.\" Consider the term under discussion: \"critic/s....\" it carries in its essence the ensuing chagrin and grief of its prey. On the other hand, its root owns salvation for whom will hearken. Thus the conundrum. Gorgeously rendered with nigh exquisite imagery and a fitly haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

An intriguing way you have with words, captivating the reader with the bleak truth dressed down to a bare knuckled verse of bulling. Uniquely proffered with skill, honesty and insight. Excellent!

My kind regards to you,

Tony.

sometimes it is embarrassing to be the centre of such attention, especially when surrounded by unsympathetic people who can neither understand nor give the support one seeks
the tension is palpable, and the poem beautifully written

Pity for the perpetrator is not something I usually feel. When raised that way, though, I don\'t know if there is any choice really. They may not know the consequences of their actions, not until the kid kills himself and instead of feeling bad they teach their sons to hate.

Very sad and touching write of the continued cycle of bullying and it\'s ongoing consequences, although these days it is done more with the tongue and technology than the fist of the past it is as common. Brings sad reminders of younger days, nicely crafted and expressed

That\'s the point of having kids, right? Add to that, we never left the playground. Hollywood\'s most obvious tribute to that phenomenon was Romy and Michelle\'s Highschool Reunion....the bullies and losers facing up again where nothing\'s changed except our ages. Excellently rendered with superb imagery and a keenly haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing, this meat wasn\'t tenderized sufficiently and is still too tough to chew.

There has always been bullying, some it destroys others it makes stronger. I was the subject until I fought and then the bully became a friend that often came to me for help. Even animals bully, look at chickens. Evolution at work. This poem was a sad reminder of the consequences of some of this behavior. A rather raw write of this in childhood. So well written it leaves memories of the past.

My mother passed away when I was 38, she died of a broken heart. Way to make a woman cry dear Tristan, make every moment matter with your Mother, mine used to tell me I was a poet, I used to giggle at her. Tristan my darling, this is so heartfelt. โค๏ธ Unconditional Love is part of being a mother, never worry she will always and forever be your most loyal love. ๐ŸŒน Ps is that you in the artwork?

This is so honest, open, raw, sad touching poignant it has the lot, they say most mothers love is unconditional and will last forever, she might how your life has gone and how you are, but it matter to her she will always love you. Best read of the week by a mile

A masterful write and a fave. It speaks to me and not being a mother I never understood that it does not apply to them and them alone. Mother\'s are a malleable mold of what is desired and expected that changes not with time but with us. The true model of unconditional love and with it unconditional expectations, one that will accept you no matter what. Such open and raw writing in this poem with its power will be heard in heaven. Absolutely Lovely Tristan

The tantalizing beauty of exquisite brevity and its eloquence. What\'s left to answer after that? But of course. Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a teasing, haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

I can never answer for your mother, yet the memory of what my own late mother loved to tell me lingers. If yours is similar, it was never a yearning for grandeur, but rather success for the exquisite little character who knew nothing and for whom she trembled at relinquishing to the inevitable disappointment which haunts every last one of us. I knew in losing her I lost who loved me as none else did or could, excepting my father. Beautifully rendered with a haunting poignancy and excellent imagery. Thank you for sharing.

A beautiful poem with an awfully sad ending, as if ridden with guilt and such a lack of self esteem and yet the mother\'s love still overwhelms. No matter whatever the compunction, a mother\'s love will never wane and therein the succour to see one through the tribulations of life. A profound a poem as it is in its excellence. Very well done, my dear friend.

Do take care now,

Tony.

She looks like a wise old girl, she is really beautiful, I hope you find the root cause to your panic attacks dear Tristan, not nice to know you suffer this and I wish you nothing but healing. We all go through times in life with some sort of trauma even when we do not feel or know it. Hugs my friend, Chloe is a true beauty. ๐ŸŒน

If any animal has a soul, it\'s surely a dog. Loyal, doting, Chloe in a poem oozing with love. You are very lucky, Tristan to have such a grand companion.

Wishing you, fine health and happiness.

It is interesting how there can be such a strong bond between a dog and man. I have had dogs and other animals with which I have had such a bond and this poem encapsulates it well. Loved it.
