The Cycle of a Dark Seed

If hunger and famine was not such a serious theme, that guy looks a bit under-fed there. Doh!
And then I make some weird comment - \'Oooh, not today, thank you; don\'t fancy the theme of that poem! lol.

The anger of youth in this poem as well as violence. Even in metaphor it expounds force and the vigor of youth. Energetic and passionate it cries out.

Good write T. Erm, my poem is \'Where are they now\' - Popeye and Obi, that is. Don\'t answer that! LOL.

Quoth the Girrabbit,\"Wouldn\'t you like to know?!--\" who doesn\'t know shall apparently remain blind until...eternity? The driving cause behind our varied languages and disparity hasn\'t ceased to exist, but morphed throughout the millennia, so far as I know. Charmingly rendered little riddle with grand imagery and a deeply haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

A wonderful write, though not many words they prick at your conscience with many other questions, enjoyed the read

They are long gone and the majesty of mighty Babylon lies buried soon to be a myth of culture beyond its time turned to sin by modern believers. A wonderful poem full of metaphor that might take pages to interpret. Nicely worded Tristan

Simply too good. The last line, in its simplicity worked in a strange way. It is a firm commitment to peace which emerged with a gravity of declaration of war against forces which were hell bent to subvert peace. I am not sure if I could explain myself. But what I wanted say was that your poem worked.

Unity the key, we are all one, bird or tree, moon or sun. Only the Buda has memories of all past lives. In search of that enlightenment and Nirvana when we no longer need return but still then we are one with all. Just as the Buda is part of us and we of him. A lovely write. A fave

Eesh, mon. What on earth is this, via its eerie conclusion? My late father despised this genre as \"navel-gazing,\" and yet I\'m beginning to become afeared tis even so as Daddy said. Argh. Fascinating, intriguing, and excellently rendered with consummate skill and grand imagery, its sheer poignancy haunting damningly. Thank you for sharing.

An interesting write that appears to be a strong act of defiance against the ongoing push to please. Very nicely thought out and crafted, enjoyed the read

The Judge
Cheeky Missy said:

\"...yea, I judge not mine own self.\" (1 Corinthians 4:3c) and \"...which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.\" (John 1:13) And, \"...with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.\" (Matthew 19:26b) I guess my point originally and still is: what power have we, truly? It seems to me we haven\'t even the power to save our own selves...\"who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?\" (Proverbs 20:9) You know? Excellently rendered in exquisite brevity with a deeply haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

Stasis Will Replace Us
Cheeky Missy said:

La dee, what on earth is this seeming half incantation?! \"...if I say, surely the darkness will cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from Thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to Thee.\" (Psalm 139: 11-12) Read the whole little chapter...I can\'t rightly say, but \"...there is forgiveness with Thee that Thou mightest be feared\" This is a fascinating, intriguing little number. Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

Stasis Will Replace Us
arqios said:

In the hush of moonlit stillness, the cosmos reveals both beauty and unease—shimmering with wonder, yet pierced by the ache of fragmentation. Beneath the glow, fears ferment, egos unravel, and darkness whispers through the cracks of night. The tragedy lies not in chaos, but in the trance of unchanging stasis. gripping stuff.
