Look at that, someone who treasures your company gives you a small token of appreciation and you go all poetic. You must be a poet!

A lovely gesture - little surprises in life can bring such joy\' Last night my daughter rang - my grandson wanted to speak with me. He had gone to bed and came down sobbing. My daughter had explained to him that I am going into hospital for a hernia repair and he was really upset. I was so touched and just want to give him a big hug - but I won\'t be seeing him until after the op next Tuesday (yes you\'ll be spared my postings for a few days ).

Today i prepare my ears for this evenings premature firework explosions. Since moving back into the city i am amazed at the noise of Guy Fawkes night. Being in WW1 trenches could not have been much noisier.

Today your piece reads like a mindful meditation. The Zen of Sunday lunch preparation.

What a beautiful day! It reminds me of Sundays at home when I was a child - the glorious smells coming from the kitchen, the feeling of Sunday safety. (Video won\'t work for me - I\'ll go look it up separately).

One of my all-time favourite poems and a super take on it - yes I recognise the ritual of Sunday lunch prep - don\'t forget the fresh mint sauce, garlic, marjoram, bay leaves, rosemary, etcetera depending on the meat.

Personally anything with a front ear seems a step too far to me. I dunno why they replaced \"eee - bah-gum\" with E=Mc2 in the first place - it\'s not poetic.

I found Sarah Vaughn more on the spot as a jazz singer for that era. And of course latterly i\'d invite anyone to better the late Amy Winehouse who took it into a whole new realm - superb!

But didn\'t you and I go further than black holes? At least we there on the moon to meet the first earthlings. And are we (us two) completely human?!
And why was I left in a black hole? I only said \'I\'m gonna sing!\' lol.

Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ Fine piece of MUSIC for Halloween thanks for sharing. Thanks for your Halloween Poem ~ Halloween with a message !

It is appointed to each of us to DIE only once ! BUT that is not the END ~ After DEATH the JUDGEMENT !

The Jimmie Savilles of this World tend to skip that SCRIPTURE !

Yours as always ~ Love to BOTH of YOU ~

Andy,

An awesome scary write!
This reminded me of an old soap opera my mom used to watch...

“DARK SHADOWS”

I will try to avoid the shadows...
just for tonight!

My love to Joyce and you!

Nice one! Yes, there are only two certainties in life - birth and death. Surprising to young people, many older folk are not afraid of their death. Actually how they die is a different matter though.
I don\'t think i would like to be scared into death by the death character in your poem.

ANGELA HERE : WOW Uncle ANDY : I love October and all the cool visuals ! You always surprise me with your eclectic choice of MUSIC each day ! Its 1:15 pm (Wednesday) here and I am free til 3 pm : so just catching up on comments while BRIAN sleeps ! Harry & Meghan were in AUCKLAND yesterday and Ruth & I were able to see them from a distance. That will be the subject of my POEM tomorrow. IT is such a Blessing to have a Daughter : I found your poem very moving !
Falling Leaves have many connotations in Life & Love. I have heard say that as you handle the cascading leaves it means: Lots of money will PASS THROUGH YOUR HANDS ! That sure was your experience ! The second verse \"Wishes Granted\" is very special ! I like your choice ! Blessings & Love to JOYCE & Yourself : ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡

An old song suggested \'catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, never let it fade away\'.
Plain to see the star you hold has not faded Goldfinch.
I share your wishes as i\'m sure do most here. I know i have written on this same subject \"shall we know peace when she comes, this stranger to our land\"

Walk by your river in peace.
