(1) I am very glad you lived Andy! (2) Is this literal? Did you really become positive most/all of the time? Wow! (3) If so, you have found a (drastic) cure for depression! (4) If you became positive because they cut away half, aren\'t you glad they cut the right half - if they had cut the other side, would you have become severely depressed? So many questions! At the end of the day what counts is that you made it!

I am grateful that GOD chose to make me an OPTIMIST and not a PESSIMIST ~ AMEN Louis\' version of WONDERFUL WORLD (and the video) is a perfect compliment to your TESTIMONY ! Lovely clip and song too - from early days, we remember. There\'s one of my \'twinges\' again - a tear falls involuntarily - from MY soul? You\'ve not \'gone\' yet. You\'ve poems to write, among many other good things!

Wow! Unless you were so appreciative for your second chance in life that you never quite saw life in the same way again.
People with \'half a soul\', maybe the negative half, can be found at church business meetings! There you will find that other \'half of your soul\'.heehee.

I am a fan David Brubeck. I like, \'Take Five\'. They have a nice reggea version of it. It is the same song. Only, they changed the name to, \'The Russians Are Coming. I don\'t know why, but it is just like, \'Take Five\', with a reggea twist. You should listen to it.
Persistence is key

Such a rare event although we go to a hotel for coffee with proper waiters and starched table cloths, which is frequented by the \'older\' generation very few of whom ever use these darn machines. It is a bit \'snobby\' though and people keep to themselves.so

There is an adage among artists that you can never paint a sky incorrectly as there are limitless variations in both form and colour - no one can ever say you\'ve got it wrong. Fine write Andy.

THANKS ANDY ~ Love your choice of MUSIC and Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni (despite it\'s rather imposing title) is very soothing. Love the philosophy in the Poem ~ there are so so many things that \"Money can\'t Buy\" that t makes one wonder why it is so so important to most people ! I\'ve never bought a lottery ticket or backed a horse and I have no stocks or shares and I have never been \"interested\" in money ! If i was I\'d work for a Drug Company and not in Education ! OK I was born in 1983 into an Upper Working Class Family to caring Parents and I\'ve never been out of work due to a good education and I\'ve never been married or (accidentally) fathered any Children ~ so my needs have always been met ! I budget on MIKAWBERIAN Principles so I am never in debt ~ thank GOD. If we all lived within our means in the UK ~ it would be a much happier place. God promises to supply all my NEEDS ~ not my GREEDS ~ In essence if I hitch my Caravan near a Stream Nature provides all the basics Water ~ Oxygen ~ Heat & Light ~ Soil and Wood ~ all I need is a Rabbit ~ Edible Roots and something to cook them in. I smile a lot so people buy my CLOTHES PEGS and carved Wooden Animals etc ! I have RUSTIC (Rusticana) CHIVALRY (Cavalleria) ~ AMEN
Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN ~ A Gypsy @ Heart !

I love these sentiments! I so agree Andy - in fact we must be on the same track today because my entry - while not so beautiful - is all about \"too much\"... you often play music that I have \"heard\" but not really \"listened to\" or didn\'t take note of what it was..... this was one of those so I\'m paying attention now!
