The future, the past, the now ... all the same ... \"simultaneous time\" ... such a difficult concept to grasp. Yet some visionaries, as you speculate in this poem, have obviously tapped into ... as I\'m sure we all will be able to as we evolve.
A thought-provoking piece, Goldie!

Are you referring to the pen created by UT students that detects cancer? Regardless, though I haven\'t seen Star Trek, still loved this write!

All great sci-fi writers are visionaries. Their huge visions are fantastic and remain so such as time machines, star ships, invasions from space, until they happen... men on the moon etc.
Will Daleks make good poets or exterminate, eradicate, annihilate?
Nice writing Goldfinch.

Ah, Trekkies! A wonderful nostalgia, and, as with most good Sci fi, a capacity to \'feel\' the inevitable future.

Enjoyed GF. Cheers.

Thanks a lot Goldfinch, for a very timely, well-written poem. I think the cell phone is the same as any other technology. It can be used for good, and it can be used for bad.
The cell phone increases and maybe improves communication, but I wonder about the quality of that communication. When you write a letter, or a poem, you think first, write later. With the cell phone you talk first, think later.
