You picked the perfect picture to go with your poem! Ours happens sunday as I guess people have already said. But our internal time clock, our circadian rhythm, never changes! Great write!!

When God created Planet Earth as a suitable habitat for Homo Sapiens Sapiens ~ He also provided Times & Seasons ~ Day & Night and Spring ~ Summer ~ Autumn ~ Winter. Man introduced the division of Day & Night into 24 hours and each hour into 60 minutes and each minute in 60 seconds ~ very non-metric ! This was to enable us to time Football Matches etc and to time records for the Olympic Games. Springing forward an hour in the Spring ~ technically makes it lighter for kds going to School in the morning ~ so we have to Fall back an hour in the Fall (AUTUMN) to balance the books. For the Ancients who still rise and fall according to the Sun 6 am (up with t\'Sun to milk our cows) is now 5 am ~ OK However if you\'ve adjusted your TEASMADE (we know you\'ve got one !) to BST then you will have to smoulder in the PIT for an extra hour. Another example of trying to alter God\'s plan and reaping a whirlwind ~ AMEN ~ BRIAN

THANKS ANDY ~ Real life is always better than fiction When I was doing Research (Biochemistry) I had a card on my bench saying \"Prayer changes things\" My Professor asked me if I prayed about the Project ? I said yes in Biochemistry we are only thinking God\'s thoughts after Him ! We had been stuck on a crux in the synthesis of a natural product (an organic molecule). I prayed hard that night and the very next day I found the answer in an Obscure Indian Chemical Journal which enabled the synthesis to move forward ! My Supervisor was delighted and his comment was \"You must have really prayed hard last night !\" AMEN ! Yours BRIAN

I too once managed rental properties, and can relate to your poem first-hand. Had a tenant move in and promptly die, before paying his rent! A true \'dead-beat\' one could say. Good write, Goldie!

Oh lol, good write Gold. That\'s very inconvenient, one popping their clogs when the rent\'s due!
Also, got to be careful with friends we may only remember at Christmas. If too far away to visit, etc, we may hear \'Oh they\'ve gone; they passed away years ago\'. Well, if no-one informs us, how shall we know if they\'ve passed on?

Unfortunately, a lot of times my silences are filled with the overpowering noise of the tinning in my ears. I am more aware of it when there is silence.
But your poem is incredibly well written. Had to make it a fav.

Oh lol, just right, and specially-chosen music Gold! heehee. Oh yes, that old Orchi got more sense and more comfort out of the guinea pigs in the end! He\'s a one! He\'s got away with it for now - it\'s been postponed. But it only delays the agony for him (i.e. me!).

Of all the pleasing sounds we hear... music, nature, a lover\'s voice ... Silence is the most beautiful. Well expressed here, Goldie!
