The loss of the physical can never erase the love or the happy memories and the way you speak of them shows such a depth of connection I\'m sure shes never truly far from you. This is a very touching and heart warming poem my friend.☺

Several things immediately sprung to mind upon my first reading ..
the opening lines brought a whiff of 10cc so thanks for the journey ..
then the pace picked up and my heart almost missed a clunk .. I was sitting here last night writing very much along similar lines (I shall send em to ya)
then having recovered, the rest was plain sailing and so very pleasantly so ..
until I got caught unawares by the undercurrent & ensuing riptide that made me think WOW .. this guy is so very darned good at this game ... Respect & much of it DA ... N

Glad your muse came back
I wonder what if it’s gone
I was thinking about your situation
Alas my muse gone
Without muse does one feel so empty ?
Maybe upon this I can write a poetry
Welcome back dear Dusk
Your back with a bang
Wonderful imagery
And the thought life goes on
Hmm
It has to
Right?
Else we would be sleeping in a grave

Does life go on has a double edge as in after a misfortune can we simply move forward or is there an after life, either way we perceive your poem I would like to believe the answer is always yes

Great writing , dusk 🙂 I hope things have somehow improved for you .

I do not feel like writing recently … maybe il write a poem inspired by another film.. when I feel like it

It’s difficult isn’t it … to make ourselves write sometimes and sometimes we feel in completely the wrong place

The simplicity of the poem reflects the speaker\'s purported lack of artifice and expertise. But of course only an expert could have penned this!
