A question well put to know who would do much different if clocks were turned back dear Dusk - - memories once made can be sieved and served many times over and often treasured when faded to maybe accepting mistakes.

A lovely well expressed poem , dusk 🙂 we’re lucky if we have a lot of good memories .. some people don’t , I know I have a lot more sad memories than positive ones and that pains me ( I wish I could turn back the clock sometimes and have all those things I should have had and missed out on

I really like your poem tho ..

The heart’s greatest desire
Which my mind rants on and on
I wish if I could turn back the clock
That’s one of my fantasy you spoke
It’s not unscientific but not yet practical
Speaking of wormholes in space which can make it possible yet it’s not possible
Only if I could turn back the clock to not make those mistakes
Loved these lines of yours :
“ a once aspiring achiever
. became sardonic disbeliever
. spiritually enriched “
Maybe I am a believer of those lines
Well penned dear Dusk
Though we can’t turn back the clock of time

Beautiful the inner self requiring release not through anger or tears but by beautifully presented poetry, đź‘Ź a wonderful piece of self preservation to exorcise one\'s own daemons.

So beautiful
If love could be written
This is the finest
So emotive and so warm
The closing lines were just epic
So well the good was so felt and it’s silence made a great noise
A bug clap dear Dusk

Just today the local newspaper reported a 5 year old boy was killed by his mother and stepfather. It seems to be more frequent recently. Is this evil a worldwide phenomenon?

Lovely lines you have shared. It is true. I saw this phrase:
A poem begins as a \"lump in the throat\". So I have added:
It rocks and rolls just like a boat
It then glides down into a mould
It may turn out to be real gold.
Happy poetry writing.
