“What is it in particular that frightens you about Death?”
Soman Ragavan said:
\"I fear my name will be lost to time...\" This is a fear that poets have. We wonder what will be left when we are gone. Data saved on servers will last long but will disappear when there is no one to look after them any more. Hard books will disappear one day. It\'s a terrible life, one that insists on erasing everything. Today, 9th August is your birthday. Happy birthday. Best wishes. May full prosperity and happiness always come your way. A fellow poet.

Yes Yalom is an interesting writer if you are at all interested in psychology/psychiatry. Gives an added dimension.
Body disposal? Things are moving on. I\'m old enough to remember when all garbage went straight to landfill. Now we have different methodologies. Needed -more funds for medical schools which then can dissect more bods.
Exit a continuation of a dream - I\'d like that if possible.....

I take no threat and as a therapist I would say that not telling is not safe because when you are most vulnerable it will leak out. In all seriousness this is a poem that speaks tongue in cheek those thoughts that many have. A lovely poem

Nicely painted in words this image of someone trained not to trust we can see in many around us and in ourselves too , if we look in a mirror. Very nicely worded.

Spillways are built to let water out of a dam and are far better than a sledge hammer. A great poem of emotional venting far better than storing it all inside.

Absolutely true, our words are moulded from within us and in some way personally connected to the author\'s thoughts and feelings, making each piece of poetry unique as each person is, enjoyed the read
