My Life in the Stars
A Boy With Roses said:

I live in Scotland, and for as long as I can remember I\'ve always been weirdly fascinated with the Americana beauty. This poem is a deep ocean of life you\'ve facsimiled and turned into words. I could live in the bittersweet happiness of it.

Is there something about Florida you are a teensy bit unsure about?
After your sestina I am going for a siesta.
BTW pickles in any form give me indigestion :-)

Very good write MEM.

Even in the darkness
The moon will show its light
Showing to us all
That this world will all be right.

Straightforward and well constructed, an easy read. Enjoyed. Must be a very small town to be so enveloped by night.

Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road?

Not destined to the destiny someone else plans for us..... parent?.... tutor?.... employer? NO! .. strike out and take it as it comes.... that way you\'ll have a life to look back on and be able to song along with Frank \"I did it my way\" lol

Enjoyed reading your post very much.

ok, so much deeper than those first three stanza\'s lull us readers into pre-emptively judging, insuring that final stanza\'s twist, maximises its impact,
an interesting format, that I\'m sure can be perfected over time into a unique style for poignant write\'s that surprise your readers into alert awareness for the subject matter you want to highlight..
really well thought-out and executed,
thanks for bringing up such an important topic of moral and social ambiguity in our treatment of nature\'s - (fellow), children

Don\'t keep me in suspenders - did she or didn\'t she? Good beginning, expansive middle; now what about an ending? :-)
You\'ve made it clear to me why I\'m a veggo.

White Pawn
L. B. Mek said:

how venerable you\'ve made yourself in sharing such crippling self-realisation, though
the mere act of gleaning this much wisdom out of life, shows you may have always been on the right track,
just waiting for that opportunistic train to help you demonstrate your true worth..
this is a profound write, I like how you recognise and acknowledge, taking accountability, but quite rightly not offering meaningless apologies for a situation you never had too much control over,
it is a rare person that can swim - back, against the flow of their lives current and set an example for us all to follow,
thank you for sharing this brave write dear poet (whether literal or abstract)

Well, no, it didn\'t get \'hot\' or saucy in this poem, so no need for an 18+.
But what do I know about hot poems?! lol.

I am uniquely disqualified to say anything about \'bras\', but I am qualified to say that I really like your poem. Since you find it \'amusing\', maybe the poem could go into the humor section, but then again, bras are no laughing matter!

A fine write M.E.M. I am not qualified to comment on women. The copy writer for \"Training Bra\" was probably a man.

I like the humor behind this, but there may be even more to be said about being able to channel creativity and create a whole poem from something normally so insignificant. It makes me wonder what you\'d create based on something in which you found true depth or beauty. Nicely done.
