Let us Not Forget Syria
Bella Shepard said:

Dear Neville, you are so right. Ukraine does get all the oxygen right now with 24/7 news coverage on the ground. But suffering is suffering no matter where it happens, and just because we don\'t see it happening in real time doesn\'t mean that it\'s not real or important. Every war or conflict diminishes our humanity and has a ripple effect around the world. Thank you for these words that should resonate with all of us.

Emotive words Neville when there is so much we can do to help but those who are able to help are just not willing to help.

Considering that 60 % of the human body is made up of water, you\'d think we\'d show a lot more respect. Love what you\'ve written.

Straight away i thought of the besieged people in ukrain cities having to drink water of any kind, sewage and heating system waters. Yet in many parts of the world people have been drinking contaminated water all their lives it seems.
Water a basic human need regardless of politics and race. Why cant we solve this basic problem.

A bold and essential poetry
The world reeks of alcohol
But no pure water for the simple soul
As summer advances
Not the news of nations drying
But news of enormous population vanishing
Very essential dear Neville
Truly you spoke the true words
Penned and justified

we share dear Poet, Supreme
I too
could write a book\'s worth of Ode\'s
to those Trees, that
offer us, so much stability
of solace
in our, chaotic lives...
beautiful! thank you
and yes, if we heed their wisdom
they always lead us
to that Right, path
in life

The most relaxing of sounds are those of trees swaying gently in a breeze. The quiet rushing of leaves high above and the mesmeric creaking of their boughs. A emotionally warm companion to sit with and contemplate is a mature tree.

Just who knows how much a tree sees (or hears) and whether it is our next step along the continuum of being.

Footnote: in the supposedly \'woke\' (yuk) days your use of \'brother\' mocks these new attitudes. You might well have chosen sister but clearly we don\'t have trans gender trees in our woodland. I don\'t know what\'s going on. Saw an article about a protest on one of these \'woke\' issues and several protesters had placards reading \"some women have a penis\". Has the world gone mad Neville?

Well, it might be a chestnut tree. Woof! (Fido says) \'Do shut up now Orchi\'. lol.
