The fall of leaves could never be given more appeal with better imagery than in this your tribute to their gentle departure - clouds of fluttering bring colour to ground and I was so intrigued by your final personified lines Nev - - so aptly describing

\"Those that take a dive

And those who

For love do leap\".......... great read.

Until Spring

Your words today make me mindful of the current state of our trees. In my garden i planted a tulip tree 16 years ago. It hasn\'t shown a blossom yet which is a disappointment but its a lovely thing. Sad to see it\'s skeletal form as it survives winter. Hard to believe this same beauty is so full of life in spring through summer and has an outstanding display each autumn.

I\'m somewhat of an individual soul and like to think that as life\'s wind blows me around and gradually wrecks my once fine foliage, I do occasionally do a leap for the sake of love. A love of this life.

Yep, you gotta let \'em go otherwise you\'re cage-ing them. \"If you love someone, set them free\" as Sting sung.

Great flow to this piece today and delightful surprise finale.

Oh I like this... Although the ending... Being unfinished... After fingertips and eyes and lips. Almost cruel. Great subtle erotica. Enjoyed this one.

Wow - what normal female would want release after that intimate but unfinished discovery - yet another subtle example of gentle erotica Nev and which I, for one, most thoroughly enjoyed ...............

That reflection does not show the real you that others see, and the one we see writes these clever words.

Such a lot said in so few words. I don’t think I have quite left that shelf yet. Need to though

Thank you for this thought provoking clever short. Sometimes our very selves are staring right into our faces.

I liked this, thank you

A fine write N. I saw myself coming back from town one day, before I had even got there. Same sort of thing, or am I spouting rubbish?! heehee.

Clever my friend this turnabout word which had me working out what it meant before I read your verse. Finding oneself seems to need facing forward and inward after that jump off the shelf eh .......... will try that today......... x

Wonderful piece, things can disappear so quickly and only once gone do we notice. There is beauty in your words, coupled with a heavy heart it feels. Saving this one because it reminds me to slow down, that life is important, those small wonders

Thank you

I hearkened to this fine write N.
I\'m about to read of \'seeing, but not seeing\', as in not seeing or perceiving with our minds. It can apply to spiritual and to natural things.
Hope all is well.

These words of love\'s changing face are charged with such imagery that readers will not only \"harken\" but have hearts tugged with its appeal. So good to have you back posting again Neville and a very warm welcome.

This is quite quite beautiful Neville. Sight of such wonderful things as the starling mumuration brings to mind how easily we take for granted the gift of sight, our most dominant of senses.
I wish you well in this trying time.
It is good to see your words here again..... particularly when so excellent as this piece.

Into my favourites.
