I Am What I Am
Poetic Dan said:

I don\'t believe much
But I believe you

A man I admire
I feel the truth

As a mountain you stand
Perfectly imperfect

I\'m honestly honoured
To know your spirit

I Am What I Am
MendedFences27 said:

\"I am Me,\" and you are you, no two the same. Billions of people in the world and none exactly alike. There may be similarities, but also glaring differences. So what is it that brings two together forever. What intangible thing we call love holds the two in bondage? It seems there will never be an answer to that question.
Your poem is a statement, factual, and truthful. It asks someone for many things to avoid. Finding such a person is Man\'s eternal quest. Your statement though brings thoughts to one\'s mind and causes a self search for answers. Very insightful and illuminating piece. Loved it - Phil A.

Babies Don’t Bounce
Poetic Dan said:

But....
They do in a door swing
Or a special chair

They do on my knee
Or on my sofa

We can bounce with love
But not anger

I was going to write something else but then changed it to the above.
As you I read the comments I thought of being a young parent, that till was not easy and I could understand how easy it must be to loose control when a scream child won\'t stop!
May have to try and write this one out now..
Cheers for the inspiration

Much peace and respect

I just cannot understand why people mistreat children, it is the one thing that I could not reconcile with the ideal of Christian forgiveness.
Unfortunately it seems to be happening more and more in this world of ours.

From my poem \"FANATICISM\"
Liberals want it tamed
But that only sends it underground
Emotions cannot be framed
And voices cannot be drowned

I am a staunch believer of Freedom of Speech, and as you stated, so far as it is not violating another.
The way hatred can be diluted is not by labeling it \'politically incorrect\', but by letting all express themselves, so that they can be intelligently approached. By shutting them down, it festers underneath and finally explode with devastating results.
I so enjoy these subjects

Thanks for sharing NEVILLE ! A salutary tale for us Men about the Art of Courtship ! In my experience ~ over the last 20 years ~ every Lady is unique in terms of her past experience and pace & level of LIBIDO ! One has to rely on ones own experience and judgement ! If one makes a difinitive move too soon or too abrubtly (V 3) we pay the price of *rejection* which is painful ! I wish I knew @ 15 what I now know @ 35 I would have been spared some embarassment. Angela is 31 and we have an exceallent understanding of each others feelings ~ AMEN !
Blessing & Peace
Yours BRIAN & ANGELA 🧡🧡
