Ahhh - the way I read was naughty but subtly nice. A work to be proud of.

Ooh should I meet her?! (heehee). \'Yeah, go on\', you say. She don\'t sound as fierce as Boudicea.

Ahhh that moment of descision \"should I stay or should i go\".

Beauty, being in the eye of the beholder, can be a short lived quality.

A casket of treasured words here Neville - - beauty of course is in the eye of the beholder they say - - but those mentioned exercises sound helpful and methinks to try \'em !! Great read.

I had to come back to this one after letting it linger in my senses.

It made me want to reconnect with my inner heathen.

To let go of something.

Inside a museum to the poet is a chance for fancy to impregnate the relics with seeing and tasting flakes of past loves - which your verse has done well - in fact so well that i felt myself there wearing the clay mask - - another thrill of a read Nev.

I can hear that baritone sax solo..... and the coloured girls say \'do da do - dad doo dad doo\' etc

Feels odd writing \'coloured\' in 2019

The song by Lou Reed was actually about a transvestite friend of his so maybe the \'lady\' in your piece did u a favour being gone. But i don\'t know which way you swing LOL.

I think it all went wrong at ‘hey babe’ lol.

Need to work on your chat up lines!

Catchy expression of it though.

Played like a comedy sketch in my mind.

Not sure if that was the intention? 😂

Ps by all went wrong I meant the man in your poem not your poem. I liked the poem, it made me laugh. Laughing is good.
