Thanks N. This sounds like some \'classical\' poet\'s words. Being a bit un-cultured (am I?) I\'m not \'into\' being an authority on many well-known poets!

Ah - - those were really the best of days Nev where innocence tried kissing and you verse it so well with the sounds, the smells and the wild flowers - - took me back to Billingham\'s Field near our local reservoire and being sixteen....... x

Great visions come out of this. I think youve encapsulated the magic of a certain stage when we begin to sense something else about girlies. Spring in the air and sap rises.

Dramatic Neville, very dramatic. Which is exactly what the subject deserves..
That is one very well crafted piece. It gets better on successive re-reads too!

Wow - what a compelling write with imagery to sigh for dear friend - - the title appealed and am pleased I caught your nymph who with poetic whispers wooed males to a watery grave........ you so easily take me along Nev with your gift for telling romantic tales. Luverly last read of my day .........x Fay

The time when truth hits is often just one moment and you describe the effect so well in this sad little verse - - another heart-tugger Nev. - - but I love your romantic laments.

A thought it was about a quite but active volcano, which gives the appearance of a crown on top of the snowy mountain. If so,
I really enjoyed the scenic journey

Mount Etna is a wondrous site

A great nostalgic read!
It brought me back to Sicily...

The NHS Alarm Call
FineB said:

Hello Neville,

Thank you for this powerful and good write on the NHS. I worked for the NHS for a time in the area of mental health and there was a lot of good will there in this area but sadly a lack of funding as with the NHS at most times.

Sorry for the way your father was treated. Years of Tory government has not helped the NHS especially under the champion cost cutters Mr Cameron and Mr Osborne.

Keep writing

Beautiful separation of possessive romantic love from unconditional love.
If you love the Tiger, then let it be where it can be the tiger you love for within a cage it will not \'Tiger\'.

On several re-reads i really do like this and its a definite for my favourites.
