I feel that I should write something profound, like how these words have let you down.. but I know it has nothing to do with these words

I would like to say things will improve and you will fell joy again and pleasure etc

However, I know that I can only hope such things.... And true...

I used to get excited at the first sight of little green buds on trees.

I used to wonder who else noticed them and felt the same funny little joy.

It used to remind me of renewal and hope and beauty and wonder. Of Mother Nature and her endless rhythms and endurance, painting her beauty across the seasons, in spite of the state of the world.

Some how I just can’t feel it right now, but I tried and I felt a little bit sad for the loss of it.

My wife had kidney cancer 7 years ago and had a kidney removed - it saved her life but left her with a 14ins scar - that scar is the most beautiful reminder of how blessed we both are.

A precious scar as reminded by this super little write.

OK, so you noticed i\'m a broken old croc. I didn\'t get this cracked up without working at it you know.

Your words reminded me of the piece \'scars\' i published last month. Whereas my suggestion was we conceal the damage life has inflicted upon us, kintsugi is a proudly displayed scar adding or even validating the age or preciousness of the article.
Gosh you must be hideous! LOL

Imagination is what makes the poet and the storyteller what they are. All things are possible, the limits are those of the universe. Creativity is the brush in the hand of the artist or the pen with the poet. Your poem offers a walk on the wild side of creativity. We can be evil or good, human or other, we can relate truth or falsehoods, the possible or the fantastic. We can frighten or sooth, express beauty or ugliness.
Awesome write, thoughtful and provoking. You are mayhem waiting to happen. - Phil A.

I could cuss you but you\'re the guy i always wanted to be?

The guy i always wanted to be was a jailbird who seemed able to hold the devotion of the most desireable ladies i happened to fail to woo.
Owlish, i was a twit to woo.
