Sweetly done. No, why embellish? A local history piece needs some bare facts, unless there\'s a tale or two to go with it. But, we can\'t re-write history, so you\'ve told it like it is. I loved it. - Phil A.

Neville, you’ve given this piece the feel of a guided walk through time...ayering history, place, and pride in a way that makes the Sweet Track feel both ancient and immediate. I like how you balance the factual with a touch of storytelling warmth, turning heritage into something the reader can stand upon. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛ A fave from me, mate. And a whole lot of cheers: 🍻🥂

A write that links the modern day to the past falling back into the misty past and prehistory into myth associated with the legendary King Author\'s Chamelot. Nicely written Neville

Neville, there’s more weight in this than the title lets on, mate! The imagery lands wonderfully…wings not just for soaring, but for burning. And invoking Icarus feels earned...not a warning, but a truth we keep learning the hard way. Beautiful work, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Your poem carries a mournful wisdom, gently cautioning against hubris while also recognising the inevitable allure of flight. It\'s a quiet elegy for the dreamers, and a mirror for anyone who\'s tried to defy gravity long enough to understand what holds us down.

When KP goes there\'s gonna be a whole lotta space taken up with botox - acres of it as she melts away! lol. She will pollute the soil with it. I will encase her in.... an old tea chest. heehee.

This poem dear friend, tugs at the heart strings and brings a lump to the throat, it is so true. For it is the very feeling, when you live through it. Beautifully said!

Your poem \'Filling Gaps\' beautifully captures the fleeting nature of human existence, illuminating the profound emotional resonance that lingers long after someone\'s departure, and poignantly reflects on the humble physical space individuals occupy in life, juxtaposed with the transformative emotional impact of their absence.

A beautiful play on words and concepts. The hole left is in some ways like removing a chest buried in dry sand it leaves a hole or impression that extends outward beyond the original boundaries of the box. Although not in the same form or as deep it leaves an impression far wider. Loved this one Neville

So often the title is requisite in understanding the poem. Here with the title\'s help the imagery of the poem paints a perfect picture where nature and symmetry become one. Very nicely worded this poem puts me there the setting painted. I have seen pheasants before but they have always been on the ground flushed out of bush with an explosion of wings making quite a distinctive sound. Most lovely Neville

Oh my--!!! Your style tastefully pushing the limits of discretion, this tiny hymn from the deeper recesses of the boudoir at its most passionate moments is sultry indeed, until I feel like hiding myself lest I be caught in activities forbidden me. Superbly rendered with excellent imagery and a charged poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

Your poem \"Portrait of an Old Jug and Bowl\" is a testament to the timeless allure and exquisite craftsmanship of porcelain artifacts, masterfully juxtaposing their historical significance with their contemporary presence in a personal space, inspiring reflection on the passage of time, the artistry involved in their creation, and the way objects can retain their elegance while serving functional roles in modern life.

That\'s a wonderful description of a beautiful piece of japanese pottery which is clearly valued as it should be,a thing of beauty. The gold crane is sometimes used to cover a repair, but this sounds in perfect condition, I hope the cranes deliver what they represent happiness and longevity, enjoyed the read
