Part of A Whole That Needs Mending

There\'s rather a sacred beauty to this exquisite, pretty number, especially with such a subtly passionate note as THAT author\'s notice. How do you cover a gaping hole which is rather truly an empty shell left behind? Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and such a painfully haunting poignancy, I almost hesitate to say anything. Thank you very much for sharing.

As someone who has dealt with death and mourning often, and not just my own, this poem is spot on, my friend. A wonderful expression. We can indeed find ourselves angry and having a hard time forgiving someone for dying. A very natural and common feeling. Brilliant grief poem, my friend! πΉπ

Certainly you play with my mind. On the whole if I were to mend a whole hole. I wouldn\'t be too concerned with the dying but rather the dyeing of the patch. As for it being a mourning song written in the evening I would rather mourn in the morn. Ah Neville you know I have a weakness for such silly homophones and homographs simply loved this bit of humor.

You sense a touch of anger that they have gone and left you, but get the overwhelming of the sense off loss of a loved one. Very touching and emotional write, Thank you Neville

Kinda like the term: spice of life! Nothing duller than a lack of variety, there is virtue in mixing it up a bit, be it scent or movement or style ππ»ππ»π

I sense this is more personal, but if you can get some sweetness from a bitter experience, that is a bonus, enjoyed the read

I don\'t have much of a green thumb. But seriously you have touched on an area much needed in relationships today and one much neglected that of trust. The metaphor is great in that trust like a plant grows slowly day to day dependent on its nurturance. It is much easier to though out a sick plant and get a new one but I find that the next will suffer the fate of the first. Trust is a two way street and both people are responsible for its growth. Great poem Neville

Why you hereby culled Intorable Cruelty immediately to mind I\'ll never know since the heroine is in a red number in that flick whence I mulled Pussy Galore\'s wishes and denouement by 007 as his manhood proved greater, and then I had to give up.
Excellently rendered with gorgeous imagery and a tantalizing, mysterious poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

A sad commentary on what sounds like a true narcissist. They can be superficially charming, but deadly, and you capture this in brilliant imagery. So well done!
