Where all things meet

All I can do is take a deep breath and exhale slowly, as I take in the depth of your words. How do body, soul, mind come together to form us thinking, feeling human beings? It\'s always a puzzle to me.

Wow this was a journey. I love all these mythological and biblical allusion. It was so intense and intriguing and the final lines were a statement. \"I am that I am\" πŸ’–

Nice one because to appreciate your poem you have to see more than it\'s face value. The key is of course the last line.
It\'s all about love. Love the world and love being a part of it. It is our home.

Thank you so much for your review and comment. I know that it is a touchy subject now days but men is used as a generic term for mankind in this sense.

Yes. This is so nice. It does continue to be a \"man\'s world\" but you can pave yourself a bright future. We must fight for equality and freedom. Well done!

Burnt offerings
Rocky Lagou said:

Wow this was deep. I mean it was detailed and evocative. It\'s sad truth that all centers on mental health. We need to support those suffering. May I ask, how did you \"accidently\" set fire to yourself? Like I understand accidently getting a kitchen burn but like your complete body? wow I hope you\'re okay.

Very well done! This font was a little funny but I honestly like the way it befits the theme. An emotion very raw but surely felt at times.

Ephemeral Embrace
dusk arising said:

Such are the regrets on waking from euphoric dreams. Delaying arising to meet the day... clutching at fading remnants of that dream... I know this only too well...

Very well written, easily relateable. Hopefully they will return for your togetherness in the slumbers which await your nights ahead.

I love the beautiful utilization of words in your poem. The way they shape, mold the essence of the piece. Loved the words, loved the poem.

Wow! This recalled a Sylvia Plath poem to mind, \"The Stones.\" It\'s very similar in execution in which the speaker is describing themselves as being this \"object\" and being handled by different people with their tools. This is an excerpt from the poem:
\"The jewelmaster drives his chisel to pry
Open one stone eye...
Heating the pincers, hoisting the delicate hammers.
A current agitates the wires
Volt upon volt.\"
I really enjoyed this poem and you did great! I love this sense of assurance in this person the speaker is describing, going as far as \"given [the speaker a] meaning. πŸ‘βœ¨

Okay, as opposed to Dusk\'s opinion, I personally enjoyed the font, as it fit in with the theme. I love the contradictory phrases you state and the paradoxes you opened were profound and sage. Interesting. \"Reality\'s an illusion\" πŸ’–πŸ’–βœ¨
