Our Morning Song
Cheeky Missy said:

La, but this is an EXCELLENTly sweet passionate love poem! If it is but a dream now, I hope for all its ecstasy, it enters reality. I wish I could give you more than a little "10" for it...it is EXCELLENT!!! Your similes are great and the scene drawn so well. Your daydreamer is lucky if she gets to taste this for real. The symbolism of a dawning morning is so perfect for the love.....I'd better stop before I exceed the 500-word limit hahaha!

Yellow Primrose - A Tribute

Wow. This is a beautiful piece! I began to see the golden delicacy in my mind's eye half-buried out of sight and so precious. I really enjoyed this! I also like this metre very well!

The Dance
Cheeky Missy said:

Wow! This is intoxicatingly sweet! You have written VERY romantically! You beautifully painted quite the poetic picture of a man in love, with your "silver gown, "red wine" lips, dancing, glowing candles, and etc. It is delightfully tender and sweetly passionate....Excellent!!!

It is True?
Cheeky Missy said:

It is such a sweet romantic poem! The last stanza begs an answer that only the recipient can give, and the way you've painted it, I hope would indicate she would delightedly assent. I do love how you've drawn the whole scene so reassuringly, so tenderly, so very sweetly...it is very romantic. Passion seems to flirt around the edges of it and through its midst so like a twisting misty warmth that cannot be but seen and possesses. I like it very well!!! Another excellent love poem....you write such sweet ones!

Jazz Filled Love

Wow. I like this piece! It is different, kinda like the jazz that swirls through it. It is cool. I love how you drew the scenes poetically....and it is so romantic! Made me smile.

Your Meadow In My Mind

Oh, but this is a VERY SWEET poem! How I do love it!!! And you know, two months from today is....Valentines Day...ah, this is a delightful reminder for lovers. And it is yesterday's metre of 4,4,6,7! The images of the sun-bathed meadow with its light spring colours and flowers makes it such a lovely poem of sweet love...as well as the reminder that "in spring, a young man's heart turns to love." Excellent love poem!!!

Those Words
Cheeky Missy said:

Like the delightfully poetic symbol of the summer zephr, so sweetly tender is this piece. Like a whisper, yet a promise, hope flies on golden wings and she is his! May their joy forever grow through bitter and sweet, and love keep them forever. I like this light piece VERY well!
(la, but I miss the rhyme and metre though...you won me with the sweet poetry!)

Wow. This is an excellently passionate piece! You painted the scene very well. It's a lovely scene.....so romantic and alluring. Seriously, you did an excellent job! The fire playing, dancing gaily, snapping, lighting all.....la, it's a sweet piece. I like it. ......Is the fire Love?

Wow. It is VERY sweet. I love it. I could so picture the scene which you symbolically painted....it is so poetic. Oh, it is so tender too, that it makes me almost catch my breath watching the dancing shadows love alluringly throws, silent in eagerness.

Depth of Love
Cheeky Missy said:

And they kept it too, right?! And lived happily ever after in a love that none had known before.......! I like it very well. It is delightfully romantic and sweet. I like how the lines are arranged....it gave me the sense of the falling and depth, just looking at it descending on the page, like the first stanza, where every succeeding line is shorter than the previous, you know what I mean?

Are You My Snowflake?
Cheeky Missy said:

You sweetheart! Oh boy! Now it had better be a whopping good Christmas card....wow, I have my work cut out for me..... Aw, but you make me smile!
It is very sweet....I like it.

Snowflakes and You
Cheeky Missy said:

Wow. It is VERY sweet. And I LOVE your comparing your sweet girl to a snowflake in all its tender transient delicacy. Yet contrary to the snowflake, may she never melt away into nothingness. I love how you imagined/presented it all...it is so perfect. And sweet.

Vortex of Love
Cheeky Missy said:

Yes, I like this one very well! It has a passion to it, that I can almost feel the handclasp as the "we" in the poem stand on the edge of the whirlpool to plunge into that exciting unknown of "FOREVER"....and I like the symbolism of vortex for the love! It is a delightfully passionate love poem!

Night Time Whispers
Cheeky Missy said:

Aw, it is so sorrowful for it begins hopefully but concludes emptily. But happy endings are vain dreams half the time anyway. It is like what you say, earnestly at a grave when you cannot bear the loss. Therefore it seems bittersweet. 4,5,5,4 and 5's.......I dunno how to properly rate it so you shall have to forgive me if the mark is too low.
But of course, I like this piece.

Take my Hand?
Cheeky Missy said:

Oh, I LOVE the sentiment in this one.....it is so VERY sweet!
I can picture it, and feel it; it's such a softly enticing entreaty. Who could resist it?
Now, I'll tell you frankly why I'm not giving you a "10"......your syllable count/metre is nearly perfect, with an 8,7 or 8,6 count, which are my favourite choices for quatrains....and, oh I hate to say this.....but, you were off count a little and the rythm was not perfect as a result. La, please forgive me.....I do not mean to criticize or be offensive but push for a higher mark.....

Oh, this is so VERY sweet! It is such an enticing, softly irresistible alluring call of love.
I love this one very, very much!!!! You should really classify it as love...or else, what is it? Wow. I like it.
