I was expecting some sad story but it\'s so heart warming, almost like a song to cheer up. As if your words and verses were dancing while I was reading them.

how I relate, dear Poet
whenever I feel lacking
I look-up the latest estimate
of stars in our universe
chuckling, at how it changes
daily, it\'s comforting
to know that even
all that self-Important science
gets it wrong, All the Time...
(I remember
in the last London Mayoral election
some guy had a campaign slogan
worded, something like
\'i\'m a man of science\'
I found that so funny
imagine, replacing
one zealotry for a fantasy story
with another, for theorising \'scientia\'
in just a generation...
what self-deceiving feats
humanity can reach, truly!)
lol
but like you say, each to their own

Thanks, Bella. THE question in the proverbial nutshell.
My only belief is that I\'m here because I\'m here... Now if you want to debate this, by all means, but I don\'t want to bore them other proverbials off yer..... 🙂

P.S: My further belief is that it will never be known why, so don\'t blame science.

\'That when I eventually return it

thank you! how true wise Poet
this be that wisdom of humility
in accepting
that we\'re merely getting to experience, existence
we need not try, and own it
for an infinity we can\'t be a part of!
(if we look beneath
most of humanity\'s repeated mistakes
we\'ll find, an aged stubborn
individual, refusing
to accept their time has come
that they\'ve had enough
that it\'s time to let go, relax
enjoy the fruits of their labour
instead
what we find
is wrinkled, bony tremoring fingers
white knuckled gripping
to every last ounce of power
and pseudo control,)

you have so wonderfully
merged, two didactive and fun story lines
the movies: \'Babe\' and \'Baby\'s day out\'
such a fun read
your wording has captured
that poetic, lullaby voice
which is so hard for us adults to do
really well executed
thanks for sharing dear Poet

What a perceptive metaphor you use in the phrase The Library of Time dear Bella - - how true that we only borrow a small amount here on this planet and used wisely we return it again and hopefully in good condition. Much food for thoughtful consideration are the points you make in this little gem.

Good write Bella.
I often waffle on about \'life\'s rhymes\'. Dunno how they rhyme exactly, but there ya go! lol.
And \'life\'s pages\'. How many pages in the book?
I dunno, but I wrote a book of \'Silent Poems\' of 950 pages. Not one word in it - all blank pages. A best seller? lol.

Oh wow a tale! And a realisation of why puppies don\'t usually grow up in litters, hardly ever so. And when they do, as it were, much like in human interactions... we end up being filled and ready by those closest to us in spite of what ails us outside of that intimate bond.

Bella, this took me back to my childhood and I felt like my mother was reading it to me as a bedtime story. When I had finished it dawned on me there was more here than meets the eye. This was a parable and yes what is good for one is not always good for another. Be careful of what you believe from what others tell you. Advice from a stranger can lead to problems. As to the length dear Bella it should never be a worry it is the quality of the work that counts and this was great, thanks for sharing.

What a subtle way of providing an angry (sad?) political message, Bella. wish I could do that sometimes instead of my full frontal clod hopping way...but are people listening to the message or the violin? I hope both....

I used to play the violin and I love the minor key but maybe this is because the violine is weeping for me. Silence is the consent by omission and the worst way of condoning. Well done Bella

Wow, this is truly a work of art dear Bella.
Your words never fail to deliver such a heartfelt message, and this one was so sobering.
I loved the violin metaphor, and then again, am unable to seperate the metaphor from the deeper meaning. It\'s so wonderfully tied together.
I feel like the usage of the word \"plaintiff\" is very direct and free from ambiguity.
While the word \"case\" is a double entendre being the literal case of the violin, and also the \"case\" as in the court case.
Kudos to you beloved poet, such a real reflection.
