Here\'s a black humour joke - \'I wanted help, I called The Samaritans, but they were engaged!\' Doh! It could only happen to me. (not a true story. Phew!).

Sympathy Dan, I have no answers here but to agree with your words.

Mt word Dan, you do write well and express yourself well when something really bites you.
THis piece really does show how you have moved on and learned so much from searching your soul.

Be strong.

A powerful read Dan and I must agree with its sentiments - we have but a short space of time here to prove that right is never held in the hands of bullies - - a compelling message runs through this fine piece of work my friend.

Oh the school system!
I despair everyday.

It is like a monster machine.

The government are worried about the mental health of our children but they will never reform these Machines.

What a powerful write Dan. I do hope that your daughter is OK. I also hope that she can see bullies for what they are, they are complete ******* cowards who will get there comeuppance one day.

I saw a news item last night that an ex world champion kick boxer is offering free tuition to children in self defence, this is to try and combat the knife crime that is plaguing the Midlands (and other areas).

A first year at Secondary School can be particularly horrid for some. Pushed into the holly bush as \'initiation\' - and worse things!
I cried when leaving Primary School, out of sadness - though it was cosy, nice, warm in attitude and outlook.
Secondary School was not all bad for me, but I shed no tears on leaving.

coinciding with Grandmothers passing your poem about her fits perfectly into anyones heart. You reveal yourself, yet again, in order for love, peace and underdtanding to take place and you have put your heart in the right place. I lost my brother-in-law to cancer ,13th September 2018 so there will be tears flowing over the next week. Thank you for sharing how you are dealing without Grandma around...

Beautiful tribute to a loved soul, now freed from earthly toil and pains to continue a spiritual path whatever that be.
Super picture of grandmother Dan, showing her caring smile. She does look like the picture of the lovely grandmother we all could wish for. I never met mine.

I\'m sure that the good things she showed you are there inside you and will last in you long after you have passed them onto your own grandchildren.
Love and respect.

Such an emotive write and so true of music, it can bring all emotions to us but the overwhelming one is that which you describe.

\"Pride took over knowing how precious life is\". You aimed your pen well to paper that and the result from this poem written in songful moments from the sound of your ears is quite remarkable. It clearly reveals a lot more about how your pen controls your mind over the matters in which they are concerned. Unveiling one\'s thoughts to an audience of poets and poetesses has a top-notch quality about the relevance of how much life really means to you. You take it on well, Dan...

There are some things which happen in our lives which turn us about - put us into a spin of desperation and questions yes angered questions flow with tears of sorrow, guilt and more raging anger.
A truly testing time of unknown outcome.
For me, on the other side of this i have found peace in a spiritual belief. Though anger and sorrow are still there and fall from me when my thoughts return.
Am i stronger, better, more balanced for this... no!

Goldfinch60 said:

Mother Nature is so wonderful, she knows what she is doing, your lady will give birth to a wonderful child and they will be surrounded by your love and protection, you will always be there for them, their every call will be answered by you Dan and the greatest things that you can do is to love them more every moment, every moment is precious.
